First time out for me in my 2012

Well the rain stopped enough for the family and I to run down to Beaver Springs Dragway.  Well the reaction time you could time off a sun dial, they were bad, plus there were running a protree and I haven't done this in over 20 yrs so really rusty.  First runs were LMS Stage4 13.456@102.38,  13.459@102.38.  Load 4+ and wasn't sure what happened.  First one I forgot to turn off the Traction control ran 13.507@102.42,  then turned off Traction control and ran 13.529@103.15, so puzzled on this one.  The track operator Beaver Bob was impressed and when I went to get my time certified for the 100MPH club, he told me to stay and we talked about the car and other FORD cars.  Overall I'm pleased.

I've know Bob McCardle for a lot of years, Beaver Springs was where I first started drag racing.  You know Bob's family owned a Ford dealership around Lewistown for years.  Anyway, you'll find that Beaver is one of the slower tracks. If you run at Maple Grove, you will be a few tenths quicker.

Yeah,  I've heard they are couple tenths slow.  Just puzzled why S4 was faster than S4+.  I'll get that figured out.
