Ford's Official 2014 1/2 Mustang release

I like the softened lines.  Taller stance, of course, but reminds me a little bit of a "toned down" viper in side view.  Still catering to the muscle market.

catering to the masses to sell cars IMO. Hardcore Mustang enthuiasts may not like it.

much better looking pics here though !

It usually takes me a while to get used to new designs.  But, I really liked this one right away.  Great job by FORD.

Ths is just Ford 2015 model, they are going to do a 50th anniversary one as well that from what I hear will be availlable in April to kind of coincide with the whole 64 1/2. I am hoping it is more than just badges like they have done in the past. I really like the big hips on this model and the almost fastback look. Now if Ford would've gone with a fastback I might of had to buy one of these too and the first mod I would do for it would be get rid of the IRS and put a real axle back there. Mustangs do not need IRS!!!!!!

We need more visible brake cooling ducts to look like the F40, and move the engine to the rear while you are at it :)

wait what ??? lol

I agree on the IRS and they're a heavier set up. Does this one have an IRS ? I guess most people that buy Mustangs would prefer the IRS feel but not the much fewer guys that actually want to drive this performance car like a performance car.....well straight line anyway :)

Agreed.  I like the new look.  The interior looks far more interesting as well.  When I was looking at new cars I considered a Mustang but the interior was.. well boring to me (and getting a 100+ lb dog in the back seat is a lot harder).  This looks much better.  I hope the materials have been upgraded as well.

I like it, not a big big change, but rather a nice evolution. A bit less macho. By looking at the pics of the interior, I am not impressed. I hope the quality of the fabric is good.

The 2D pix showing the back end straight on looks to me like a Saleen... until you see it from an angle where it is actually curved and slanted much more than Saleen.

I guess a true "fastback" should carry the same angle as the back glass through the trunk lid.

I agree on the interior.  Too analog for me personally on the center stack and instruments.

I like it although the rear tailight section really reminds me of the look of the '67/'68 Barracuda tail.

I never said it was a fastback the word if is in there. If Ford made it in a fastback I would've had to buy one. I still love the wide hips on the car.

New Mustang is very nice.  The 5.0 has also been modified.  Supposedly going to push around 430hp and will have a forged crank and rods.
