I figured I would upgrade to a new tuner when I tuner my truck. Also not sure which tuning company I'll be using, a few more options for the F150.

Quick question are the SCT-X3's specific to manufacturer or even model? If I bought this could it be used on a Dodge? I believe I asked this before but this would work from an SHO to an Xsport correct? It's unmarried I'm sure.

The X3 is manufacture specific, so this will only work on Ford vehicles.  I'm not sure but it might only work on more specific group of Fords as well. 

This one is unmarried. There are 4 unlocks left, not sure how many come stock.

The SCT Part number should tell exactly what vehicles it supports, I would bet it is a 3015 SF3 X3

That is the typical one that was used/is used, and what I have for my 03 mustang. Will work fine for your Xsport, but not for the dodge. Based on the ecoboost, there may or may not be canned SCT tune support, but it is recommended to get a custom tune anyway.
