Fuel pressure dips

I have a 2010 Taurus sho with about 30k on the clock now bought it with 15k and have had no problems but now as I’m tuning in e30 Brad is having to turn the boost down so far in e30 it’s slower then 93 because I’m getting huge fuel pressure dips and once has the car throw a code saying something along the lines of not enough fuel and it’s really scaring me I’ve already taken the e30 tune off and put 93 back into it do you guys have any idea of what it would be or if any of y’all have had thag problem before

Seems you need the upgraded HPFP. Some stock HPFP pumps just don't recover or hold pressure like other ones. Also double check that the fuel in your tank is E30.

^^^^This!

I had a 2010 that didn't like ethanol blends terribly much. I ended up adding methanol to offset the fueling requirements. This of course was back before the upgraded HPFP was developed. If you are looking to run ethanol blends, I would highly recommend spending the money on the XDI-35.

Yea I’m just gonna probably end up buying a xdi35 threw my tuner, and I check the ethanol content of the stations I go to about once a week by finding someone already pumping e85 and getting them to put a bit into a glass in the middle of the fill which I feel is the most precise way to do it.

I’m running E30 now with the XDI35 and DW300C with meth and fuel pressure hasn’t changed from when it was 93 and meth.  2800 rail pressure easy.

Fuel.fuel.fuel. The weakest link in these cars... I have the Livernois Firestorm HPFP, DW300 LPFP, KB Boost a pump on stock injectors... I'm running E40 but that's mostly because my tuner said that's all the octane he needed for the max timing boost he runs. Could not run E85 without meth because of uncomfortable pressure drops. Probably could run E60 but there's no real performance benefit.
