Can some one tell me if I'll need a helmet to run at gateway?

NHRA rule state anyone that runs 13.999 or better must wear a helmet. They will let you go without a helmet unless you break into the 13's, then they will make you wear a helmet. You need a pretty slow car to not wear a helmet.

How much?
I have a 2013 Ford Taurus SHO with a performance package how much is it to run at the Gateway track I live out in Wentzville and was wondering when they do that and did you ever get a helmet if so where how much was it if I have to wear a helmet I know the tires were expensive enough that I just upgraded to

It's wide open Wednesday so who ever wants to come out does but it's not too busy so you're not waiting around a long time to race. guys remember in july they will being having a fordfest there. I plan on showing my sho as i did last but gerry from washington, mo was racing his. lots of fun, i won the '75 to present sedan class. gerry did pretty well in his bracket. hope we can get something going to meet. like i said lots of fun.
