Not talking about ponies.  Half a mile from my house last night,  damn fox decided to play chicken.

We both lost.

Had the car 2 months,  and already need to have body work done. Insurance is gonna LOOOOOVVVVEEEEE me.

The lower grille looks ok in the pictures.  Should be able to clip that back in if you took the bumper off.  So is it just your front bumper that needs replacing bc of that crack?

I wouldn’t even call the incurance co. You will regret it..that blemish on the insurance will haunt you for at least 3 years every renewal period...they will tell you it doesn’t affect the rate but then why is it there??

Yeah, I'm looking into it. Gonna call around some body shops Monday and get some prices. The bumper isn't as expensive as I was thinking it would be, BUT it'd still need to be painted/matched.

Haven't had the car 2 freakin months yet. Been driving almost 20 years, and in the last year I have now had 3 animal strikes resulting in damage. WTF.

I agree with the replies. Minimal damage from all given appearances and the majority of those pieces will likely pop right back into place.

You can access the lower grill parts by simply removing the smaller of the two under belly plastic pans/covers.

The one that spans from the front frame/core support, to the front bumper cover. No more than 15min tops.

Once exposed, you reach up into the cavity and pop that lower grille back into/onto the tabs of the front bumper cover. Replace the belly pan and done.

The bumper cover alone, w/o any paint/prep work, last I checked, was in the $600-$700 realm.

So if really desiring have that very small crack repaired, then have at it.

If it was me, I'd press in some caulk/silicone (white and/or clear) on the back side of that area (perform this when that same aforementioned belly pan has been removed) and if any protrudes through into/onto the front side, wipe it off so that the crack itself is filled and less noticeable.

Just suggestions. Sorry to read this having had happened to 'ya.

I dread driving at night with the SHO in my area, particularly late evenings, and/or very early mornings (I'm a night shift worker) as the are numerous deer lurking just off to the side(s) of the road(s).

Count my blessings thus far none have run out in front of me.

Radiator core support is what I was referring to.

The rear portion of the smaller under belly pan attaches in that area.

Nice to see the price of those parts coming down from when I had to purchase mine a few years ago.

Be sure to spray with Febreze to get the factory coating of animal pheromones offa them parts LOL.

Tom I’d have a body shop look at fixing the bumper. My niece opened the garage door on my dads mustang and the door hit the rear bumper causing a mess. He had the local ford body shop fix and paint the existing bumper for under $500 and it had a decent crack in it. If you are looking to do it yourself. The company SEM makes a syringe tube of bumper repair. Stuff works really well and if you fix it from the inside like bdp mentioned no paint would be needed.

I saw a couple on car-part.com, expanded to include all interchange choices to see a few more.  Not a lot out there, but some definitely.

I was only searching New England area.

Used JB Plastic Weld on it.  Ordered some touch-up paint.  (Ford one w/ clear)

I may leave it as is depending how it looks.  If I'm not happy with it I'll replace it.

Looks wayy better.  Some touch up paint and well you'll still notice it but at times I bet you don't!  I'm with you either way!  I could see replacing it and doing what you just did!  Nice job!  👌
