Going to the track this FRIDAY night.. What's your BEST 1/4 mile ET? SHO

That 60' is one of the best I've seen from a SHO. Not much room for improvement there it looks. Those temps and east coast, what was the DA? I'M guessing -1200.

Rich

That negative DA is a plus out here in the east coast compared to the higher elevation areas, personally ran a 12.79 with just a tune and an Airaid cai at the same track last winter, the old man should be out of the hospital by the end of the week, they see a little progression in him, hopefully can hit the track this week cause of lifes unexpected obstacles been itching to go. :)

Best of luck to you and your family buddy.

Our local track just closed for the year this past weekend. Might be some private runs left there as a real good buddy from school just informed me that he knows the owners of Milan personally and can get us out there for free anytime....what timing as the year ends.

Lose that K&N and I bet you'll have an 11 second car.

Great times!

I have been reading your post's on the extensive testing you have been doing with the CAI.  AWESOME job by the way. I thought about that a lot in the last week or so, and I was thinking of changing the K&N with a Airaid, but when Ireally thought about it, I didnt think taking out the K&N during this cold air, and having the engine cool, and only going down the 1/4 mile would make ANY difference, especially when it's cold out. Any thoughts on that?
I thought about this a lot and I'm now wondering if the k&n may be helpful at your power level with meth. You aren't nearly as heat  challenged like us non meth guys are so the open element may not be an issue.

Maybe you could do some IAT 2 testing with both?

id love to see the difference in the summer at the track with a thoroughly heat soaked engine.

Damn I should have went with torrie I have 2014 and have livernois tune downpipe full exhaust meth kit basically everything you have and the best I could get is 12.5 and most of my runs have been 12.6 and 12.7! I know livernois hasn't got any of the 13 or 14 Shos in the 12.2. Very dissapointed in the money I spent with the money I spent with livernois for there meth kit and only pick up 2 tenth in the quarter mile!

Hmmm, I've ran 12.5's without meth. Sound like there is an issue of some sort at play here. Grip maybe? What is your 60' times look like?

Trying to get the 13SHO group together at the track friday,Rich196,BMC-Bill and myself, think it will be a cool event, will keep you updated. ;)

I don't have the performance package but have every mod done to my car except lowering springs! My 60 ft times between 1.83 and 1.85. Heard livernois tune for the 13 and 14  for meth tunes where real conservative compared to the 10 - 12. And nobody with livernois meth tune are running lows 12 for the 13 and 14 shos

Steve has gone 12.08 I believe in his Livernois tuned 13, FYI.

You could bet. once I get the Airaid CAI, I will DEF. make 2 runs with the K&N and then back to back runs withe the new CAI.  I;m also curious to know.

Is everyone still in for tomorrow night?  I'm looking good. Rich
Looking good so far, hopefully the old man should be out tomorrow[god willing].will keep you updated, Z

Tell the old man you are going racing and he HAS to come watch, Z!  That will lift his spirits lickety split!

Was getting the SHO ready for tonights track meetup with Rich and Bill, received an Email stating that the track is closed due to the cold weather, finally got a chance to go due to lifes unexpected events, maybe next week.

Bill Text me and we might go tomorrow, its Ford vs import or something, but they have open time runs, gates open at 9am. Personally I think it would be faster tomorrow with the sun on the track. Can you make it?
