Good God the shine on that red is INSANE.

Very clean, and looks fantastic lowered.

Hope you report better experiences with them, as they continue to break in.

bpd1151 Thank you kind sir!  I always like to stay on TOP of things from A to Z.
I think it needs time to break in as stated on page one. Z

Very sharp and clean indeed. I never had this bouncy feeling either, nor did i ever bottom out. Mine is a PP.

I am running Milani wheels, 20x9.5 with 38mm offset, 275/40/20 all 4 Conti DW tires. No rubbing or any other issues, I love these wheels. I get many compliments on this setup. Although, I am thinking of trading the car in, and I want to sell these wheels/tires, as I have other set that I use for winter. planning to move to big city, and can't justify keeping the SHO while spending close to 80K on another car. Kind of want to keep the car, but we'll see. Will probably make a thread later for the wheels, but if anyone is interested, let me know.

CroR1 and bpd1151, I too live in the Chicago area and I am looking to get these H&R springs installed. If you don't mind me asking, how has the car handled around downtown Chicago and the surrounding area? We all know the roads here suck and I before I dish out the cash to have them installed want to make sure I won't have and experience like ZSHO.

Also, if you don't mind me asking, what did you pay for install. Got a quote today ($600) and it seems high for install and alignment.

I really had no issues with the H&R's, or even the Megan's thus far.

They're both really great products for what they are.

I will say that I avoid some of those damn side streets in the heart of the City though, as they've installed a multitude of those speed tables (speed humps in laymens terms) and some of those things are insanely high!

And I avoid them not so much for the suspension in and of itself, but more so because I have that lower front chin spoiler installed, & I'd fk'n go bananas if I tore that thing off, or damaged it either approaching those tables, or coming down on them at the backside.

Either way, I have a very very good friend, who is a mechanic, owns his own shop, but it's out in the Southwest 'burbs near Joliet.

He's been instrumental in my own SHO, handles all of my other vehicles I own, and everyone I've sent his way, has been nothing but complimentary.

I think he can cut that install price in half of what you were quoted. If you'd like his info, PM me, and we exchange accordingly.

@CroR1......  say it ain't say so! You'rr thinking about selling your beast? Ugh. **smh**. Tsk tsk.

I think my view has changed somewhat as you will need to be patient until the suspension settles/breaks in similar to having new brakes installed.
The bouncy feeling has subsided a bit with roughly 300 miles of driving.

I think it matters if your having just the Springs installed or the whole kit and caboodle which in my case was new Struts, shocks, springs which could of an impact on the ride quality which could influence your review. Z

FYI would make certain to install new strut mounts for a peace of mind.

@-WickedSHO How many miles on your SHO?

Just hit 22K.
@ 22k would consider having the rear shocks changed as they are prone to leaking but a personal preference IMO.
IMHO would not bother installing new Struts, especially @22K only the Strut mounts as mentioned ^^^

The front Struts/Springs are a pain to do and are time consuming and labor extensive to say the least.

The rear shocks are quite simple and probably the easiest part of the whole process and would make certain to get new Specialty cam bolts  for the rear part number 81280 IIRC.
Best of luck and any questions feel free to ask. Z  :)

Btw would certainly accommodate bpd1151 offer!! a generous one @ that. Z

Thank's ZSHO for the info. I will surely consider getting new shocks for the rear.

bpd, when I am ready for install, I will reach out to you and hopefully we can exchange info on your mechanic friend.

Thanks again fellas!

Z, I am betting an actual side on shot would be MOST appreciated by everyone.

This way the viewer can see right on/directly how well it sits. Sits from front to back, and how much room is in your wells, etc.

Just a suggestion.

For example, and I am really digging way, way, wwwaaaayyyyyy back in the photo vault for these images..... but these were captured back in the Summer of 2010, shortly after I had the H&R's installed.

The silver taurus on the left is stock height. Mine on the right is lowered on H&R's.

I travel to Chi Town 4-6 Times A Year, Which one would i like to drive: The 2011 of course

Thanks bpd1151  .......

Yes Please. Even the other pics posted are white and the contrast is hard to make out the gap. You cannot tell what changed and by how much.

The part numbers provided on page one are indeed correct for those who had there doubts such as hawkeye93 and needed closure for a peace of mind.

I must admit the part numbers for the Front Struts can be very confusing between the PP-SHO & NON-PP due to (supersession) .

Here are some pics of the 13+ PP-SHO Struts for comparison. Z
