whats up every body. Checking in from northest pa. Long time mustang, cobra, shelby owner! Well long story short im 29 and have owned mustangs since 18. Gt.cobra. shelby you name it. Last year my 7 year relationship ended and decided i needed to do me for once. So i sold my mystang and paid some bills and went into police academy to pursue career in law enforcement. Well i graduated 10 month academy and decided totreat myself.  i used to work at a ford dealer so called up my connections and took deliver of a 15 SHO in platinum white with performance package. I wanted a practical nice comfy car but still had to cure my need for speed.  So thats my story! Hoping to pick up some info here. About to order a intake and a tune soon.

Welcome! Dont waste ur money on the intake.

Welcome! :WELCOME:  :hi:  :WELCOME:

Enjoy the forum!... and hold your breath during winter's last gasp.

As far as intakes... I have dynos to show that on my '13 SHO in back to back pulls (9 total) with a disconnected and completely removed OEM CAI showing no difference performance-wise that the factory intake installed. ...There are a number of folks with real life racing where K&N and unmodified Airaid actually slowed them down in the quarter as much as 0.1 sec, which they got back on the same day by reverting to stock intake.  MDesign has a new CAI that beats both of those on the dyno...the reports are posted here somewhere... I have one of these and I love it, plus IMHO it is beautiful and NOT open to the close engine bay in our cars.... Anyway, do a little more research before plunking down $300-$400 for something that you may decide will slow you down.

But have fun modding no matter what!

Maybe we need some kind of new warning system. Like the blind spot warning, if a Mustang is within 100 ft of rear bumper the brakes start flashing? Lol
