Hello from NC. 2011 SHO

Stupid question.  What gas in stock form? I assumed 93 but no writing on the gas nozzle.  Plus no owners manual.  Sorry for the dumb question.  Just can't believe this would be tuned less than 91 from ford

Not a stupid question.

The stock tune will accommodate 87 octane, but it will make less power and get worse fuel economy than if you run premium.  It will just use the knock sensor to retard timing to a safe level.

Personally, I run only 93 whether tuned or not because I want all the power it can make.

I haven't had a car use less than 93 in 20 years lol.  So 93 it is.

That camel-color insert is microsuede (Alcantara) not leather, so be use the correct cleaner/conditioner on it to keep it mint

I would NOT pay a dime for that because the Ford dealer is obligated to provide you with the original codes and its not like your asking for a set of new keys.  Z

I know on the older Taurus it was under the drivers side dashboard on a sticker near the foot well but up a little bit so it's not easily seen.
