New to this forum, here is my 2013 Ecoboost PI. 79,000 miles. It served as a Highway Patrol speeder chaser for 2 years in Upstate New York.

Welcome aboard the E.B.P.F partner, sweet lookin ride there and any questions you may have always feel free to ask and best of luck with the new ride.Z

Welcome to the forum, David, good to see you and your '13 PI here :)  It's a beauty alright.  Did you just obtain it, or have you been driving it for some time?  Impressions?

I got it January 27, 2015 after extensive looking. I absolutely love it! Cars just get out of my way, but sometimes drive slow around me. I even get the Police to wave to me in passing. Every drive is an adventure! Ford is really kicking ass with this motor.

Looks like you could use some add ons like keyless entry, remote start, line in audio etc. ;)

since interceptor models come factory with 3.7l motors and a "tune" for added performance, does that mean if they get an LMS or Torrie tune, the car is likely to develop more poster than standard SHO models?

The 3.7 isn't an ecoboost motor.  The standard SHO will still be better.  FYI they didn't make the standard sedan motor a 3.7 until mid year 2013. Job 1 production was the 3.5.

It is a 3.5 Ecoboost not a 3.7. 365 HP. This vehicle has better brakes tan the SHO, has an extra engine cooler under the front bumper and also has a transmission cooler. It is also crash tested safe in the rear bumper to 75 mph. To get the remote start I will be getting the correct hood pin and having my local dealership turn the options on in the computer. As far as the console, I am getting the one in the picture below made by Gavis. I also plan on swapping out the radio wit a Sync unit.

Depends on what SHO you are comparing it to.  If the SHO has the performance package then the cars are basically the same (drive train) including the brakes.
