Help me spot any differences!

So the first thing I noticed was the composite valve covers....

Do you guys see anything else?

This vehicle had "California Emissions" listed as one of the standard "options".

My 13, and other 15's we considered did not....This leads me to believe there has to be something different, otherwise why not just option them all that way?

It could be as simple as different programming.

I have noticed this car has a max of -4KR as opposed to -5KR on the 13.

Hopefully any changes will not limit me performance wise but I'm still leery...

I'm not going to be thrilled if I wind up with a slower car.

My 13 clearly said no E85, lol....

It was quite ambiguous about E-15 however...

Looking at the rear valve cover I'm guessing they incorporated the oil separator into it vs having a separate unit.  Looks much cleaner this way.

Ha! That IS pretty funny. Normal for pre 15s I think? Or 14s...
I always thought it was unusual only a single screw was used.

I think the major difference between a federal emissions compliant engine and a California (CARB) is perhaps only the catalysts. Though, perhaps there are some associated differences in the ECU logic. Maybe a couple other subtle variations in physical parts or orientation, to meet tveir smog standard. But I seriously doubt any of it is a performance inhibitor, conpared to a federal engine.

Definetly looks like an updated,impoved pcv system,wonder if its a heated pcv unit,will try to get some pics for you tommorrow.Z

I have been trying to obtain pics of the rear valve covers and still waiting cause they do not stock the 15 SHO valve cover and hopefully next week will have some updates,was able to confirm that the 15 SHO rear valve cover has an updated BAFFLE  inside the valve cover,instead of having it on the outside as previous 13-14 SHO'S,guess i was right when looking at FoMoCoSHO's pics of the engine bay.Z

Here's one thing I see, beside the valve covers; I only see one BOV on the turbo to IC pipe... the one that was at the back seems missing... on the '13 there is one on the pipe from the rear turbo before the slider on the manifold, as well as the one toward the front that I can see in the pic.
