I like the idea of a Livernois tune, but the device itself is 600 bucks!
That is twice the JMS (not that i want that chip anymore, but i had my mind set on the 300 mark)

Do i really need to buy one?

Can't someone who has a tuner just download my tune into it and deliver it to my ECU for me? Is that a service anyone provides in the St Louis area?

I bought a used Mycal on this forum for 150 then Livernois charges 300 for unlimited tunes (You have to marry the tuner to a specific car so no one can use their tuner for your car). The tunes and customer service is worth every penny.

Welcome, thanks for joining! I'll leave the tuning with LMS on tunes but our downpipes, coilovers and hot pipes are pretty dang nice. :)

For the initial investment of $600 you get far more support than the average tuner offers you.

First off, you get more than just 1 or 2 tunes with us. Your MyCal tuner can hold 4 custom tunes plus your stock file a t a time. You can have 4 completely different tunes on your MyCal tuner at a time.

Secondly, we offer continual ACTUALLY UNLIMITED tuning support. As you grow with your car, we grow with you! Let's say your modding journey starts with just a tune. Then you later decide to add a tstat, we will tune for it free. The next month you get a 3BAR MAP sensor, free tuning update here too! The next year you get a CAI, no problem. The year after that you buy downpipes, still free! 5 years after that you get a catback...guess what. STILL FREE!

BUT WAIT, there's more! We also offer supported vehicle swapping for no additional charge! So your current SHO is a 2010...you decide to upgrade to a 2013, free tuner transfer! Then you lease a 2016, we still have you covered! There is so much more than tuning that goes with your purchase.

Lastly, most tuners after a certain period of time will charge you for any tuning updates that they create themselves. WE NEVER CHARGE YOU FOR THIS, LIKE EVER! There are dozens of guys on this forum alone that have started with our tuning on their 10-12 car, moved to a 13-16 car that have received more tuning revision updates than anyone could possibly even count.

I haven't posted about this but I've been running an LMS tune in my '15 F150 for a year now. Wife DD's it and has no complaints about the tune at all.
Thanks to Dan and the guys at LMS, I happily endorse their tuning.

Thanks Mike!

So now AJ is the only one left LOL!

Just starting to play with LMS tunes since the '15 Fusion has more limited tuning options than the earlier model years. Trying them and Unleashed via SCT.

I like both so far.

Both companies are super fast to turn around tunes but I did get more tunes for my $ from LMS. The LMS tuner is simple but also the easier of the two to work with when it comes to loading the files and flashing the ECU.

On the flip side it is really nice to have the digital gauges and datalogging the SCT provides. Plus if you ever get brave enough you can DiY.

Minor things but its always good to know the differences in what you are considering.

Only one left for what?..to have your tuning or endorse lms?....well i secretly refer people to lms when they ask me if i can tune for them without logging....im not interested in that type of tuning so i say they are a customer better served by lms
