High pressure A/C switch?

Need a little help.

I have been suffering with lackluster a/c performance this year. The air blows cool but not ice cold like it should. In addition to this my engine fans run as soon as I start the vehicle regardless of exterior temperature, they were also doing this in the winter/spring.

After doing a little research, I'm thinking possibly the high pressure A/C switch. What do you guys think?

Thanks, Andrew.

Andrew do you hear the compressor engaging, any clicking when a/c is on? hows the coolant level, and possibly your stat could be stuck, causing the fans to come on rapidly, hows your temp gauge,is it normal.BTW you could purchase a gauge and check your freon levels on the low pressure side. Z

compressor engages fine, no clicking and checked coolant last night and it appeared to be at the required level. Temp gauge usually sits at the mid-point regardless of exterior temps.

I personally think its not your high pressure switch,if the switch was bad you would hear it clicking, and also when your freon levels are very low,you could be just a little low on freon considering the air is cool. Z
