Hot pipes Sold- and adding more to this post as I take em off

I tried a few different techniques but found it ideal by starting by the rear turbo inlet first and not tightening the hose clamps until the proper desired adjustments are made accordingly and proceed from there.
I certainly agree with Jason that the lower pipe can be somewhat a pita and a 2nd hand might be beneficial in the process but must admit the end process is priceless and couldn't be happier, cheer's. Z

One of the reasons why I went to full silicone hose.
If you guys want some let me know I can setup a way to just purchase those at $50 each (expensive I know but they are pricey and I have to buy 20 at a time)

Hey Z, there is a pic of it on my first post here: http://www.ecoboostperformanceforum.com/index.php/topic,7171.msg109449.html#msg109449

Its the first picture with everything in the box, the black silicon hose at the front corner of the box is what he is talking about. It was pretty simple to install.

Also, last two pics of post #65 in the same thread show it installed. IDK how to link to the specific pictures without re-attaching them, and I'm at work :/

Hope these help though!

I'll be posting more stuff.  But price wise I am uncertain yet.  Other stuff coming will be an Areoforce gauge, stainless works no cat downpipes, snow stage 3 meth kit n more possibly.  Not sure.

Glad those sold for you. After just replacing my motor and still under the warranty for another 2.5 years, not sure I'll be modding too much. I do love the sound of your exhaust though... Not sure it would fly red flags with the dealer though...

My hopes and dreams might be renewed with those downpipes!

I would run the down pipes with the new motor but no cats so I would have to run a tune.  And I don't plan on running a tune do to the warranty with the new motor.  The exhaust sound clips didn't do it justice. Sounded way better in person.  Not sure if I'll even keep the MRT axle back on it yet.

Yeah, I don't want to run a tune either. I thought about Carter down pipes and axle back, but not sure. Still got my tune/ tuner and 3 bar I've been debating on selling since I won't use it for 3 years. By that point, I might not be modding the Flex anymore. Cause in 3 years my daughter will start driving... Who knows, maybe I'll move onto another car and teach her the power of the EB!

I'm currently heading down the road you've been on.  Looking to break into the 12's this season with my Flex.  Downpipes were my very next investment plan.  The hotpipes would've been nice, but the DP's will help me on the drag strip much more.

3 bar map sensor with turbosmart vacuum adapter throes in between the map sensor and intake to allow you to pull your boost reference accurately.  This is where I hooked up my BOV to. Was modified to work on our ecoboost motors but was made for the f150. Worked perfectly. $80 shipped for both.

Did you have to do anything special to that Turbosmart BRA to make it fit/work on your Flex?  I'd like to pick one up.  Are you willing to sell yours separate from the 3-Bar by chance?

Not OP, but I think the adaptor needs to be ground slightly to contour better due to difference between the F150 and transverse, I may be wrong but I seem to recall that discussion happening here before(but I can't find the thread). However, I think the one that is for sale here has already been clearanced as needed.

Yes, it was modified as my original post about making them work with out engine.  And yes, $50 shipped for it.
