Attention all of you 2010+ SHO Owners Exclusively....

Here is some useful information on where to obtain an Official Build Certificate from the Ford Performance Group.

By following the link below, you may obtain this unique, one of a kind item that will help set off your SHO from the others.....

http://www.fordshowparts.com/store_contents.cfm?cart_id=05140729170111114100831042480920101108&store_id=1&dept_id=1137&product_id=6989

Along with your certificate comes a CD packed with all sorts of other goodies you can purchase, as well as a very detailed breakdown of various SHO's, colors, production #'s, options, etc etc......

Here's an image of mine:

In the grand scheme of things, owning/purchasing this certificate is a small subtle "thing" to have, and is kind of cool and helps make your car stand out that much more if you ever were to start showing it at various car shows, etc.

Typical turn around time from date of order, to actually receiving it in your hands, is typically 6-8 weeks.

Hope this is of some relevance to those fellow SHO owners out there!

I 2nd that this a great item to have. I have mine in a plastic stand that I put in the engine bay for the car shows that I attend. The judges all stop & take a look at it. Of course most of them have never seen a SHO up close, so the whole experience is new. Just one of the details that set cars apart. Thanks for bringing it to my attention months ago. By the way ours are almost out of same litter build # 4543 & 649 of the white of '10's. I've done lots to mine but nothing like yours & the shows that I go don't have models to fancy up my machine!!!!!!!!!

Why thank you.....

I've learned over the years, that having beautiful models work my ride(s), especially at the larger venue car shows, is a win-win for all involved.

The car itself draws attention to the model(s), and likewise, the model(s), as beautiful as they are, draw attention to the car.

Most, if not all of the girls I've worked with over the years are really cool, down to earth, and are just a real pleasure to be around.

Not too mention they are quite easy on the eyes.

I'll have them tomorrow for total SHO and White Platinum SHO.

BTW, thanks for the idea BPD.

Thanks for the update Dave. I figured the 2012 numbers would be out by now, I know 2013 won't be out till December/January per Ford Show Parts.

Are we seeing a continuing decrease in the number of SHO's every year and if so what does that tell us about the future.

I was surprised at the drop between '10s and '12s. Could be they were ramping up for the '13s.

The website for FP only offers a choice of years through2012.... but they would take my order for a 2013.  So I took a chance and paid for it.  Maybe it will be a Christmas present.

That's great they took your order.  You may be the first one to give us 2013 build numbers.  I'm gonna guess right now.  6000.  There seems to be a lot of them.  At least on here!  LOL

2010 = 7114-Per BPD's Cert.
2011 = 4845-Per Fordmanmorgan-Thanks!
2012 = 1808-Per my Cert.

Where does the site selling those certificates pull their data from? I'm curious to see the stats on the 2013s but I don't want to buy a certificate.

It's right from Ford.  We'll see the stats when BIGMac gets his probably.
