I think I've been sold a lemon

Been to the dealer 3 times over hubs clicking. I still have a slight rattle in my sunshade with bass. Had gone to a diff dealer to replace a brake light switch(broke when avoiding an animal on road) strut tower bushing/ bearing and they didnt do an alignment so my steering wheel was at 10 or 11 o clock with the crown on the highway. Returned to dealer a week and 800 miles later to find toe really out and then 2 days after receiving my car back the gas supports for the trunk spray on my head while inside the trunk and falls on me. And a hose for the wastegate control pops off the charged air tube and I loose boost erratically.  I noticed the area was misted with oil so I checked the charged air tube and its soaked(is this normal? Esp after a boost or vaccuum leak?)

Not sure how the hose will stay on the charge tube without a clip.. also discovered the end of the hose cracked already and it cut clean when I put a clamp on it..

Im really really annoyed and im not sure what to do. I already had an appointment for the gas struts and I know thats gonna take a few days to get fixed..

Also this is on a 2014 sho with performance pack

Welcome  aboard EBPF !

Sorry about your troubles ..

There is a TSB on the hub issue ...  its a warranty repair .

The small hose in the pic does not come with a clamp from the factory .
I would just trim it and put a small clamp on it.
As a preventive measure  against boost or vacuum leaks its a good idea to put clamps on all hoses that don't have them , being careful to not over tighten.

Oil in the CAC tubing and intercooler is a  well known issue  on the 3.5 EB and solutions are available.

The below forum links discuss this at length with LOTS of reading material .

The SHO and 3.5 EB have tons of potential , dependent on how much $$$$ you can spend .

Welcome aboard Mystery101 and feel your pain, was the vehicle purchased new or used? They should provide you with a free loaner for all the inconvienence you have been through until every issue you have is resolved, good luck.

Damn, that sucks!  I absolutely love my '13 SHO PP, my favorite car I've owned to date.  I hope you get your issues fixed, they don't sound major at least.

I did have to deal with the clicking hubs.  My dealer fixed them after having the car for a few days and doing a TSB that I told them wouldn't fix it.  Check out my thread, I posted a pic of the paperwork that you can show your dealer.  http://www.ecoboostperformanceforum.com/index.php?topic=3140.15

Vehicle is new. 3-4 months old and ive already put a lovely 7k miles on her.  I absolutely love the car. I am tired of the issues. I guess when I roll down to the dealer Wednesday ill bring a print out on the hubs clicking since they tried finding the noise and resorted to saying all the tauruii on the lot make the noise. As far as the oil anyone have a guide on installing a catch can?? I didnt see one..

Installation location is still kinda up in the air .
I don't think anyone has done a " how to " yet .
The best I can say is read the posts as the installs have been done in several engine compartment areas.

Any repair the dealer performs is backed up by a one year warranty, and also your Good year f1's come with a one year warranty since your vehicle was purchased.

Really??? I thought f1 supercar tires didnt have a warranty.. what are the terms?? And who would replace them? Ford or goodyear directly?

Look in your manuel booklet, you will see the small manuel for warranty for tires.

Mystery101 when you have a chance go to the introductions page and setup your profile and post some pics of the new ride and good luck.

Dealer repairs are now 2 years, unlimited mileage, and that includes commercial vehicles.

Certain wear parts like wipers aren't included.

Is this true for work they do on a non-ford car?

That is correct, with non fords the warranty is basically what the parts supplier offers. It would be impossible to offer a warranty on a parts stream they can't control.

Its a Ford loyalty program, its only pertaining to Ford, correct me if im wrong.
I bought a FORD Escape (wife)_,Fiesta (youngest daughter) and a used Chrysler pacifica(middle daughter) from my dealer this year. You know the pacifica is give us problems 4 brake job 2 w/caliper, 1 w/ rotors just this yr!! Ford did the work all but one time. This is why I ASKED?

Its in the best interest for Ford to have you as a repeated customer,in your case being a true loyal customer and purchasing multiple vehicles from the same dealership honored the repairs, and of course it varies by dealership.

After 4 days and a broken rental van I finally got my car back. Clicking seems to be gone but ive been driving it easy. After getting it back I forgot they fixed the trunk lifts; I pressed the button on the bumper and the trunk flew up shortly after I went to raise it and chipped the paint with the tool that was in my hand (head wall) Annd once again I have to go back because the leather part of my steering wheel is peeling. http://imgur.com/VYxG1z4 spot is bigger since photo and its flaking in other spots..  Really disappointed in this car.. 5th week in a row that ive gone to a dealer.. gahhhhh...
