if you thought MFT was bad...

I'm stuck with a Chebby Malibu while the SHO gets the hail damage PDR'd. The Malibu's touch screen system is utter junk. Slow, washed out in the sun, and has horrible touch sensitivity. I may just be used to MFT but, geez.
Also, the Malibu's stereo makes our Sony stereo sound like a concert hall.
I can't wait to get the GM out of my garage, it feels so dirty with it in there.
 
Obviously you don't follow the media rants about MFT very much.  Anything non-Ford is the cat's meow.
 
My cousin who is a GM guy used to swear by mylink. Then his mom's equinox had to have it replaced 3 times in one year.

The media hates Ford for not taking bailouts.

How dare Ford act responsibly and not shift their financial responsibilities to the taxpayers.

It sure does feel that way sometimes. I have to agree GM nav units that I have had in the past were not all that. I had to have the unit in our SRX replaced twice.

My 2015 GM Sierra is way better than my 2012 SHO I've gotten used to speaking to the unit but it can be so bad it's comical. The Sierra isn't as complicated as the SHO with it's voice activation but that is its strong suite. Maybe its better in the new SHO but the 2012 My Sync is pretty bad. My two cents.
 
My wife's Bluetooth in her sonic is rubbish, other than that her system isn't too bad, at least it has apps unlike the ones we thought we would be getting with any vehicle other than a fiesta
 
ughh, still rolling around in the Malibu. the MyLink system is still awful. I'll try to skip a song on my ipod and I'll get no response. I'll hit the touch screen and the actual button and get nothing. Then 30 seconds later the system will beep however many times I hit it and skip that many songs. Also the volume knob sucks as there will be a 1 second delay from when I spin it to when the volume changes... makes trying to set the a good volume level tough.

I want my SHO back! :cry1:
 
I don't think Fords newest system is bad at all. Ford got a bad rap from Sync years ago that they haven't been able to shake. There are certainly worse out there, from other automakers.
