Incoming new product JMS Boost Max.

If you read the catalog page provided it states it "compatible with JMS Custom Tunes"....is that accurate? (I would hope it is being from their catalog and all). And does that imply ONLY JMS Tunes?

No, I can make adjustments with my calibrations to work in tandem with this device.

Device Facts: it is a microprocessor controlled device that works well with the stock ecu.

Is BoostMAX as good as an aftermarket calibration? NO.

Does a ecoboost function better than stock with BoostMAX: YES.

BoostMAX was designed for two purposes:

1)  Work alone on a stock ecoboost to Add additional power without ruining the way the car drives and without voiding your factory warranty.

2) When you buy the optional remote knob...it Is a stackable product that works along with a custom SCT ecu calibration.  Use the knob to adjust the boost level....on the fly.

Thank you Torrie for clarifying this .... Looks to Be a valid upgrade option , especial with one of your tunes in play .... YOU HAVE A NEW CUSTOMER    ........ Very Soon ! !

So..... If you were going to run this set up with a custom tune.. Would the tune actually be set up with a lower boost setting to give you the ability to increase or decrease boost?

Because if the tune is already set up at "Maximum" performance levels and then you turned up the boost... Wouldn't that be bad??
I'm assuming a custom tune from whomever... Is set up for the maximum performance the vehicle can safely handle..

Now it's making sense..
So my next question is....
What benefit would I have by running lower boost at times when I'm not getting in trouble? (I'm not going to track.)

Bringing back a post from the dead however has anyone on here used this devise and only this devise?  I have not put a full tune on mine since I would like to keep my extended warranty however if this little bugger works in line with everything else to give it a little more pep in her step, I would love that.

The only questions I have is that is there truly no trace of a signal alteration in the cars ECU should a problem arise?  And I have heard people mention that the ecu may eventually re-calibrate itself back to stock levels over time with this devise.  Is there any truth to that?  I like the idea of being able to take it back to stock for routine service appointments.

Thanks and sorry if this has been discussed elsewhere.

Completely untraceable once you remove it. I have them in stock

Thank you for the super fast response.  Can you clarify on the other question?  I have read a couple places that the ecu will eventually recalibrate back to normal?  I have seen that in a few comments however based on how this works, the ecu does what it needs to based on signal inputs and as long as that signal is being altered, it will continue running at higher boost levels.

Can you also confirm AFR stays in a nice happy place with the increased boost?  I understand there is extra room built into the factory tune but going from 10.5 to 15 is almost 50% more boost.  Just thought I would check first.
