These guys can build custom springs, I'm serious considering going this route

I need to give them a call. Would be nice if they could match the PP's spring rate but produce a spring 1" (+/-) shorter.

1" drop still leaves us too high in the ass end IMHO.

The car with an inch cut off in the rear only looks about perfect rake wise (I prefer a little)

In my mind that would mean 1" in the front and 2" rear.

I have an extra set of rear PP springs and looked at cutting them but upon closer inspection the area where you would cut starts to flatten out which makes me think that these aren't the right springs to cut.

the rear springs can definitely be cut. the part that sits in the control arm is where you cut.

keep us posted if you do this. it would be great to get another option besides H&R.

Dam Dam just saw this post. Installed H&Rs over the weekend. Ride is what I expect, very tight and does make the car feel like it should, sporty. I wanted Eibachs but after several calls with them they will not make the springs as low market volume. A slight less drop in front would be preferred and level in the rear is ideal.

Post up if you go that route and what the specs are. For now will enjoy the H&R
