I just sent my pillar and pod to a mate to do some fabby work. Going to throw in an Autometer Elite Boost and AFR on a-pillar.

My guy has a wicked idea; he's going to try and mat the pods to the pillar without removing the fabric. If it looks good, I'm going to get the pod cups hydrographic to match the carbon fiber on the center console. If not, I'll get it recovered entirely in fabric like my first one.

Once I get those in I'll wait a bit and then pick up Chris center pod again if he has any. I want to get my PPE downpipes first so I can get them installed and EGR gauges at same time to cut down on labor.

Thanks.

I'm having second thoughts though--I think I'm going to go with the Prosport EVO gauge in white instead--it just seems more digital for how the new SHO is.

I like it more.

Didn't someone here have white ones? I thought I saw photos or video awhile back.

Awesome gauges and SEMA award winners!  The ability to dim them and the completely black appearance when off make it fit the techy nature of the SHO better.  I think the Evo white will also display in green if you choose.

Yeah; it's either green/white or red/blue.

I couldn't decide whether white or blue; I think the blue is way too dark compared to SHO.

Was thinking white instead.

Two things to consider I think…. First:  Can I easily read the gauge in "x" color while driving, and Secondarily:  Does the gauge display color complement the interior and your ambient lighting color choice… of course if the gauges are primarily for aesthetics you might reverse the priority of the decisions

That's what led me to white; it's easy to read and wouldn't drown out in black backdrop.

…. and kind of disappears when the car is off!  Cool.

I have the EVO's in Chris's Pod. I went with the blue/red, as the '10's gauges are blue. Was going to do blue in day/red at night. First our wiring will only allow one color &  I choose blue. Second & most important during the sunlight they are hard to read. At night & cloudy days they are dynamite. But with sun out not so. I even installed their cone shape item they have to see if that would help. It didn't. I'm not handy, I'm sure someone better than I could figure out a glare shield. If they do I'd love to be first to know. I truly love then, they work exactly like website says so startup is great & detail when you can see them are great. My guy took 2-3 hrs to do them or atleast charged me so. I went with boost, wideband afr & egt PS Beck love the 5" my 4" chrome Borla are nice but like yours a lot.

Thanks; I got some ideas--going to go with white.

I have 15% tint all way around my car; it's pretty dark inside even with the sun. I know my a-pillar will be fine.

I'll let you know; was going to do the Elites but it's about $1400 something for all the gauges I need; don't really want to spend that iwthout first trying Prosport. They look pretty awesome. How's the accuracy though on boost and AFR?

Right. Now to figure out where to put AFR probe. I don't want to put it on the DP past cat because I'm replacing those.

Can I put it before or after the small X pipe on Corsa?

Sent from my mobile, I think.

I'm not sure where it's taped a shop who had done one before did mine .  I know for sure the egt is taped into the down pipes, as just replaced them & had to retap the PPE's. my afr seems real accurate, atleast that what my guy & his dad said. Normally runs 14.4. Like I said love the gauges, had for about a year now, no problems except the glare & 1 color only was really looking forward to the red at night.

I'm going to give them a shot; rather spend couple hundred on two gauges and also do my PPE Downpipes together; if they don't pan out I can switch the gauges later.

storm:
like i said you'll flat out love them when you can see them & i did get their cone shape item to put over the gauges, which i like alot to. makes them look real good & are cheap. will be interested to know if you get white that it makes a difference. good luck. my PPE install turned out real good once my guy figured out an issue. top class work & when you get old ones off will see how ford smashed originals down & why you get more flow out of these. also i think it then allows the 2 1/2" either corsa or my case borla cat-backs to really do their job of increasing air flow. you also get a little bit more rumble but not bad. still trying to make my wife believe exhaust is stock.

Haha, can you send pic of shrouds on? I like to see how it looks with Chris center pod.

I'm just doing my a pillar for now.

Sent from my mobile, I think.
