IT'S TRACK TIME!

Even though CAD was cancelled, family and I had other plans so it worked out.  We ended up going to the Henry Ford Museum.  I've been waiting to take wife and daughter there.  They were totally impressed.  Also got to see our first real life in person test mule.  It was one of the new super duties. if anyone stays out there, I highly recommend the Country Inn on Michigan Ave.  Very nice place and its only about 1-2 miles from Livernois.  It was an awesome turn out from the SHO family, largest I've seen in a long time, other than the SHO convention.  Wish I could make it next weekend, but won't be able too.  I will be thinking about all of you.  Hope to see you at Carlisle or convention.

Finally made it home. I am still glad we made the trip even though CAD was called on the count of rain, just being able to meet so many of the guys from the forums made it worth it. Not to mention seeing all the SHOs in one place at one time. I rarely see another one in these parts. I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it Saturday, but it looks like the SHO convention is a possibility.

Thank you guys all for coming out to join us this past weekend!  We really appreciate the support and glad to hear everyone still had a good time even though we were rained out.  As was previously mentioned on here the CAD has been rescheduled for this coming Saturday May 23rd.  Same time and place.

We understand many people have plans to travel and such for the holiday weekend, but hope many of you are still able to come join in the fun.  We will be there bright and early and look forward to getting many passes in for everyone interested.

It definetly looks like cooler and better weather is in store hopefully (god willing)this time around, any updates on participants attending the CAD. Z

I wish I could make it, but unfortunately cannot. :( good luck to all that can. I'm not going to speculate on the weather. Don't want to jinx it.

Had a great time at the track today. We all had trouble with traction and the best I could get my car to do was 12.8 but hopefully I can get the exhaust fixed and run better next time. We even got to see the fastest 1/4 mile time ever put down by a SHO today at 11.7.

I would say so Manu.

BOOSTD's the only other one running a built motor.

That's awesome stuff.

I hope he posts up about his experience. I know his wait has been a lengthy one, & hopefully with this GI-NORMOUS achievement under his belt, it will reinstill his confidence in his SHO once again.

Curious how the run felt to as far as Trans/Drivetrain going from 0-100+ full tilt?

Makes me sad i'm stuck working all weekend. I was looking forward to lining up against him as it would've been a good run.

Congrats to BOOSTD & LMS! :clap2:

Yet another record that LMS can add to their already lengthy, phone book long list, of record achievements with the SHO / EcoBoost platform, not yet achieved BY ANY OTHER aftermarket, performance vendor.

Kinda bummed Mike that you weren't in the mix today!  On the other hand, your SHO is a DD, so I don't want to egg you on :D  But I do hope there is a record-breaking track session soon in the future!

Don't think Boosted was in attendance. Pretty sure Livernois was running it.

Had a great time today. Was a blast getting to hang out with all the guys.

Wife ran a best of 12.53, best I could muster was a 12.45.

Great job Rich! Kudos to you & the Mrs.! :ok:

Yes, I meant BOOSTD's car at least. Not necessarily he himself.

Thanks Mike. Was really hoping for better times today with a great DA that started out at 0 but went up to about 700 quickly.

Traction was non existent, had the tires down to 24 psi at once and still couldn't find grip. Thought 12.2's were possible with the addition of downpipes, but it just wasn't in the cards.

The wife is completely hooked now! She had the good ol perma-grin entire ride home. Now she wants to go faster!!!

Side note: she ran it like 8 times, won every race but one vs a G8 that put down 12.6 every run. She did get revenge and beat him though.
