I FINALLY have a SHO! :)

Picked up 2013 Ignot Silver PP SHO with 5600 miles on it from Sewell Cadillac in Dallas, TX.  This thing looks brand new, couldn't be any happier.  Drove it over 700 miles back to Colorado in the same day, got very familiar with my new baby.  I put CC at 80mph when possible and I was averaging 23.5MPG on the computer.  Manual calcs came out right at 23, very happy with that.

Damn, I love this car.  I don't understand why people are getting rid of their 2013's.  What out there is better?  I always thought the interior looked cheap from pics but now that I've spent some time with it, I think it's gorgeous.  The all black interior is stunning.  The multi-contour seats are nice, glad I got those.  I got familiar with the MyFord Touch, think it's great so far.

My negatives so far: Power steering wheel needs to drop down and extend out a few more inches.  Not a huge deal, just would be nice.  The turn signals are weird, maybe I just need more time.  I tend to hit the brights when doing a right long turn.

Picture when I picked her up at dealer:

I'll eventually do a tune and lowering springs.  Going to enjoy her in stock form for a while.

I'm 32 and have owned the following cars: '88 Honda Accord, '97 Saturn SC2, '02 VW Passat 1.8T, '06 Pontiac GTO, '06 Dodge Magnum R/T AWD, '06 Chevy TrailBlazer SS, '11 Kia Optima EX 2.4, and '12 Sonata 2.0T.

Lol about time troll....  just kidding. So how bad was the power loss from Texas to home....  dude I still haven't got mw turn signals dialed in.  Still hit high beams on right hand turns.

You stole my car! Hah. Looks great! Glad to hear you like it.

When I was in the mountains I never noticed a huge power loss. Barely anything. The turbos make up the loss quite well. Going between the spring and woodland park you can hear the turbos are really working.

How were your dealings with Sewell? I think you made out well, if you paid their asking price. Alot of car for the money, huh? Nice, low mileage too.

Enjoy the car, dude. Great car to have at 32 years. Commands alot of presence on the road. Tons of fun to drive. Enjoying mine with just a LMS tune. Don't foresee any  more mods any time soon, as the car is so enjoyable as-is. Love it's quietness and refinement.

Congrats!

Sewell was great to work with.  Got picked up at hotel, did a walk around, test drive, and signed papers.  I was out in less than a hour and on my way back to CO.  Transferred over my SIRIUS and paired my phone.  Won some money at the WinStar casino, holy crap that place is huge!

The Colorado State Patrol has silver cars, so I think a lot of people think it's a cop car when I come up on them, lol.

My car looks exactly like your. A lot of people haven't realized the cops have the new Taurus others do slow down here in Colorado lol.

I get that a lot.  the 2013's look so much like the police spc cars in your mirror.  When I roll up on someone at 80mph, people just move over and let me pass.

Ah found it.  It's under steering wheel above parking brake.  What a pain.

Yeah the BCM is in the drivers foot well. would you like a few wire diagrams so you know what wires to use? Or would you like me to just show you which ones to use?

Would you like it on 24/7 or only on when the car is on?

Someone said to use fuse 33 on the other SHO board.  I want it on only when car or ACC is on.  Which one do you use?  I'm using one of those add a fuse piggy tails.  Is it possible to keep the fuse cover on without modifying it?  Probably just leave it off.

I put my passport on the visor and ordered a 12volt 15ft extension and ran it down the pillar and through the dash and console and plugged it in the armrest console 12v port, look nice and clean,no wires to mess with just plug and play.

Ok fuse number 32 in the BCM is the one you need. It is only powered when the windows are powered. Now I'm not sure if the power is always hot at the fuse then it goes to a relay or if the power is only at the fuse if a relay sends it power. They way I wired my boost gauge was with a little wire tap which is after the fuse. Just try and see.

Here is the a view of the BCM and the wiring harness that we are focused on.

I always have found the turn signal on odd arrangement for canceling once selected.

I see you had a 2006 Dodge R/T AWD and I have to tip my hat as I owned the exact same thing. Such a unique car and it rolled out after the cam, headers, bolt-on and nitrous. Looking to get another one for a commuter car, but it is near impossible to find one with low mileage. Hoping that somehow that car gets back into the Dodge line up someday.

I agree, loved that car!  Just wish it sat lower from the factory like the RWD R/T.  I got it used with 12k miles and traded it in at 85k miles 3 years later and had 0 issues (other than T-case shudder recall).

I'd love to see a new Magnum with the updated interior, would be a sweet ride.  I'm really disappointed the new '15 Charger R/T doesn't have AWD anymore.  Only available in the V6.

I took care of the ride height of the AWD by installing a set of BC Coilovers. I was able to run just a bit lower than a regular R/T. I too was disappointed with the removal of the R/T with AWD on the Charger. I would probably just make the jump to the 300 if I needed the Hemi and AWD. The market of high powered AWD cars is pretty thin at the $40,000-$50,000 price point and that is where the SHO is filling the void.
