How'd the windshield crack?

It started as a rock chip. Every single car I've owned, I've had to replace the windshield. This crack isn't too bad, it's all on the passenger side.

In AZ I average a windshield replacement every 14-16 months for the last 30 years..... Pay State Farm $10/yr for no deductible glass coverage with my choice of any shop.... So broken windshields are a minor nuisance.

I'm doing worse than you.  I'm on windshield #4 in the Taurus, and have two chips in the Xsport.

Can't wait to hear how you like it.  I'm waiting 6 months before I tune mine.  But today I bought the 3bar Map sensor for $60 shipped from the link BigMac always posts.  You should definitely get the 3bar and have Torrie send you the tune for it.  Also should get the new plugs and gap at .30.

Bummer!  At least I don't feel alone! I'm on my third since 9/13 due to honest impact cracking.  Hassle is making sure they replace with SoundScreenTM tinted glass

With just little chips..... For some reason when I get more chips than I can stand (4-6 that I can see easily). I've noticed that my ball peen hammer always falls on one of them when parked in the garage .... Insurance requires a dime sized impact with cracks extending out to replace for no cost.
