Sorry man; I tried that WLED-X19-T for my reverse; it was no where near bright enough.

It sucks the guy raised prices on the LED's I recommend for reverse light; they work great.

So I take it you are remaining noncommittal on what you feel your reverse bulbs are worth?  I asked earlier what the most you would be willing to pay for them and if you felt they were worth $40.00 a pair?

DOH, sorry man.

Yes; I would pay that much for them -- they are worth it in my opinion.

If you can spend extra $50 I would get HID's tho.

I am planning to move to HIDs myself and retire the LED's.

Well I guess I'll just send them back.  :bangin: No need installing them if you have already tried.  I appreciate the feedback (geswek) and will continue to monitor ebay for these http://www.ebay.com/itm/140786483328?item=140786483328&viewitem=&sspagename=ADME:L:OC:US:3160&vxp=mtr or see if anyone else can find an alternative.

I just ordered all mine from superbrightleds.com and will hopefully be receiving them this week.  The tail lights are the last ones on the list below.  I don't know maybe they won't work, I'm no expert on lighting that's for sure. My SHO is a 2013 for the record.

Yeah when I asked storm about his LEDs on evay , they where markup stupid then back down to $27 for the pair, which is reasonable.

Am I blind but are there really HID reverse lights???? I have a set of the reverse lights above I am about to order on amazon.. I don't mind the cree ones I have now but they are more spot pattern than flood, these look a hell of a lot better.  But if there is an aftermarket option I am overlooking I am willing to spend the money, pulling trailers and backing up at night is worth it to me.

HECK YEAH ROB!

Look up 15W Reverse Backup HID kits; they are like $95 bucks, draw 2AMPS, and direct plug.

I'm doing it to mine.

I went with the HID kit, I have some LED ones in now, I will take pics and show you all how it wires up and the difference it makes.  I am hoping for crazy amounts of reverse lights, I hate backing up to trailers at night with my backup camera when it was stock and still with the LED's, maybe Ford should just put a better camera with night vision or something in it... haha

That is so strab that he jacks the price up then drops it.

I ended up ordering mine from Amazon...they were $39.95 but I won't buy them from the jerk on eBay if they were 5 bucks.  I hate merchants that play pricing games like this guy's doing with these bulbs...either you sell them to everyone at the same price or you don't.  I can see them going from 28 to 34 dollars but up to 45 then back to 27...that's just bull!

I'm anxious to see how these work for you...if you are happy with them and the installation isn't to hard, I would consider these for our tow vehicle...makes backing a lot easier...those combined with a LED light bar from Rigid Industries, should handle most lighting jobs when towing and camping!

I actually was thinking of getting some sort of actuator like the AMP research running boards use only less heavy duty, tie them into my reverse lights probably in the trailer pin, and then mount a set of rigid SR lights on them.  Only come down in reverse and raise back up when I put in drive, keep them hidden and everything looking clean.  I could not find a good actuator that would not only work how I wanted but being ready to take some abuse and weather, so I scrapped the idea.

Ebay boy is back at $27.98 for a pair for those interested.  Also I did a check to see if those fit a 13' and said they do not.  I guess that must be wrong......

As stated earlier I won't buy from a jerk who plays pricing games.  But if you look at the chart it says it won't fit any of the Taurus from 10 up.  I have a pair coming that I got from Amazon, will let everyone know if they fit a 10.  Storm has had them in his 13 for a time now and they are working fine for him!

To update, the bulbs listed for the back-up lights are incorrect for the 2010 models...I just checked mine and the bulbs are a D16 something.  These bulbs connect more like a headlight bulb not like the ones shown or listed.  I do not know what year the change was made to the kind the Geswek listed but they won't fit the 2010...but if anyone wants a set a a good price, I have a set coming that won't fit...if they fit your car, I send them to you...but I would like to get like $25.00 (including shipping) for them.

So here goes..

I picked up this kit on ebay:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Universal-HID-Reverse-Backup-Light-Kit-912-921-7440-W21W-15W-Xenon-White-6000K-/111142604721?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item19e09d8fb1&vxp=mtr

The price wasn't too bad for an experiment on my truck and I have spent more for less, if it works kick ass and if not oh well.

I got the kit and before starting to mess with plugs and making it work go back to the auction and read the instructions on what color goes where, let's just say I ended up junking a few plug and play terminals and splicing and heat shrinking them, no big deal as it probably is sealed better but it was a "Damnit Rob way to make a quick plug and play mod take longer" moment haha.

I popped one side open and plugged them in and they are a LOT brighter than my LED lights, a LOT. haha  I could tell they were getting warm (I put the truck in reverse and set the parking brake so I could work on the circuit powered) as it took me a while to get the stock 921 plug to fit just right.  After trying to mount it back in and still having issues with getting it just right to get the kit to plug in and power the HID harness I had enough and decided to scrap the project for now.  I noticed they were plugged in and running for a couple minutes but they were already HOT in the housing, enough I am glad I took them back out.  I did not get pics while they were in as I was in a hurry after having to splice my own connectors, but they work pretty good if you want more light, just don't go in reverse for extended periods of time. haha

I would also add the time it takes to fire the HID relay is a no issue, instant.
