LMS Tune review

I figured that I would take a few seconds to share a tune review that we just got from a new EcoBoost client. Obviously, we cannot give out personal info.
"Hello I recently purchased and installed your  tuner, intake, plugs, and thermostat in my 2014 explorer sport and I am blown away by the performance increase.  This kit is absolutely amazing, so amazing that I just purchased an upgraded map sensor from you guys as well."

That grin you get after installing the tune is priceless, make sure to hold the steering wheel with two hands,LOL.

Just beware, you will never feel like driving on stock tune again
Agreed.  If I have to return to stock, I'm ready to retune as soon as I get home. I try not to even get on it and feel what it's like, just cruise home and fix it.

Is the 93 Performance tune the best one to run for the mods that I'm doing for now? Is there a better tune to ask for?

That's the one...3bar tune?

You need to make sure to have a top tier fuel provider you can count on for good gas in the winter months though. Winter blend gas has a hard time meeting the 93 octane it's labeled as.

Livernois has warned us of the possible damage that adding e/85 could pose on our fuel system, maybe motor if abusing the % of e/85 added.

Just monitoring knock retard from Torque pro, I noticed my "KR" double when winter blend arrived during normal driving and a slight increase under WOT.

So I add 1.5 gallons of e/85 to each full  tank now to boost the octane a bit. Puts me around 15% E...not to bad seeing that we get 10% E normally.

You will NOT be disappointed in your LME tune. It's going to be like a whole new beast. Really.  Before I got my tunes I thought guys were exaggerating about their tunes  -  We aren't.

I have only been using Shell's 93 V-Power. Here's a lab analysis that I came across that someone posted on it a few years back.

look forward to doing mine as soon as i can get a couple tanks of 93 run through her. with weather like it's been & all the salt/beet juice, yes beet juice is what they use in the lou, on the road my garage queen politely refuses to go out & is happy snuggling up to it's battery tender for now.
beet juice great for traction, but also great for keeping salt adhered to your vehicle. don't know who came up with the idea but was not a car guy. then again may have had a connection to car dealers or mfger to make your ride not last as long.

Tuner, tstat and 3 bar the only things besides exhaust and head studs avail for the explorer? Is direct injection the hurdle to get over for an 11 sec explorer?

That is NOT all that is available for the XSport!

We have a meth injection kit, turbo impeller upgrade kit, turbo upgrade kit and an extreme shortblock all for the 3.5L!

Want to go 11's? That is definitely something that we can help you with. We are the current world record holders for the most powerful EcoBoost SHO @ 617AWHP & 608AWTQ. Now that vehicle has yet to hit the track, but we have already had a vehicle with less done to it go into the 11.90's!

There is no need to look any further if you want to set a world record. Nobody knows more about the EcoBoost platform, or setting new world records in them than we do!

If you would like to explore your options, let me know and we can schedule a conference call with you, my engine build supervisor, machine shop supervisor, vehicle installation supervisor, head calibrator and myself.

Thank you so much for that. Very interesting (and for my purposes, troubling) that the Shell I use may already have 11% corn in it.

I wonder how the blends vary from state to state, as at that concentration they would need to disclose on the pump which they do not.
