Look what the boss brought home!

Wife went and signed papers on a 2012 GT500 with 15K miles.  Black with red stripes.  PP with Nav and recaros.

The short one on the left made it happen!

I went into the dealership to test drive the new ST to replace my old one. "High Command" insisted on the SHO because there were some issues with the ST.(The seats were unbearable IMHO)

A most excellent decision by the CIC.  Have fun, and break into the 9's :D

Planning to do the same as with the '09.  TVS blower, tune, injectors, offroad X, and Dr's.  Should be enough for mid to high 10's.

I'd have to use my executive powers to pull something like that off only to be vetoed.  :chop:

I assure you though it's not my head that would be getting  chopped.

Congratulations.

It's actually mine.  I was at work while she went to the dealership and did the papers.  I have no doubt I'll get it to run high 11's bone stock.  I got my '09 down to 12.16 @ 113 stock, and an 04 cobra to 12.62 @ 111 stock.  Just about finese and good track prep on stock rubber.

My 'Boss" brought home a Hyundai Elantra GLS last week  :hmmm: not the same thing at all

I've been worse than there.  We had to have a Kia Soul when they first came out.  Luckily  for me, we were at a New car show and she sat in the twin of our SHO and had to have it.  6 months later bye bye Kia.

So 99 since it seems you'v e mastered the first 1320 feet, why not try some racing with turning and braking involved? Ive run a few Team Shelby track events and its fun for 20 minutes at a time instead of 10-12 seconds :))

Unfortunately around me we have 3 dragstrips, Gulfport(MS), State Capital(Baton Rouge,LA), and NoProblem raceway(Bellerose, LA).  The tracks are open almost year round.  There is a road course at noproblem and one also at Nola motorsports park.  Very little open track days for us non members, and the cost is $200-300.  I did run my '04 Cobra on a track day, and ran out of brakes on about lap 4.  Hard to slow down from 135 when your foot goes to the floor.  I was downshifting and pumping! :drive:
