Lots of boost and methanol

Intake temps are amazing, 27 or more below ambient!  CAC temp not so good, rising above 35 mph?  FRP looks good at just about 2200 psi max, typical of the Gen 4.1 (4.2's run upto 2500 psi).  Almost 1/2 second to full throttle, easing in?  Coolant temps looking good, typical rise to 205F or so after WOT run.

You have done the PTU service, right?  Did you check and empty out the intercooler?  The liquid puddles on the other end of the IC.

What is gen 4.1 and 4.2?...and the fuel pressure isn't specific to year...it is configurable in the tune ...there are tables to change set point for fuel pressure...I guess it could be different in the different strategies but I think most tuners ramp it up earlier
Is there anything to change specific gravity of the fuel?

Gen 4.1 2010-12
Gen 4.2 2013+

With 2150 commanded on the pump, I see rail pressures over 2700 on the rail.

No I mashed the pedal I believe ha. Didn't ease in. It was pretty nice out today (like 55ish). I tried to get what liquid I could from the intercooler when I did my methanol kit. Lots of oil in there. I tried pumping but couldn't get any to come out. Zip tied shop towels to the end of my oil dip stick and got a lot out that way.

Is 64 Celsius in the cac too hot? Is that not normal?

145 degrees is normal for a bunch of stop and go driving.

Interesting....there are adders and compensations that could add to the base set pressure

Can you adjust when the regulator opens?

Did another datalog run with a new tune Torrie sent me.. Really pushed it hard this time. Feel free to take a look, I attached it. Coolant hit 209, CAC hit 145 again, air intake temps rose from 65 to 95 degrees Fahrenheit.. Airaid's not sealing too well :P Might have to try and mod it to seal better.

Definitely chalkline the Airaid see where the gaps are.  Worth the mod if needed!

So, if I am reading this correctly, the SHO's times are:
0-60:  5 seconds
0-100:  11 seconds
60-100:  6 seconds
Maybe we can't really go by the mph data, since there are many places where speed gaps by as much as 5 mph in 0.025 seconds!  Maybe the device is crying "Uncle" when it "freeze frames" lol.  How is it connected to the OBD port?

I would think though you could hit 4 second 0-60 times with a boosted launch, tried that?

My suspicion is that on a properly timed track, he has a low 4 or high 3 second car.

I was at 4.1 without meth...

Wish we could just use a laptop without the x4 as the medium. It's to slow.
Yeah, it would be nice if we could shitcan the useless box they give us and just let us buy windows based software license.

How was your resolution with the laptop in bridge mode?

I have to keep the pid's under 25 or the data is so lag loaded you might as well plug it into a potato...

I will say that I have had not one problem flashing with the X-4, so it is good for at least that.
Yeah I've never had it fail to flash a tune... but trying to delete old tunes off the device requires me returning the car back to stock, factory resetting the x4 then loading the new tune on it. So once I reach the max tune limit on the device I have to do that process. It's.... annoying.

I have come so close to smashing it... but then I remember sct is about 5 weeks out on any delivery so I calm down.. hah.

Yeah, I wasn't impressed with mine either.

Question is what's the issue?

Pipe too small?

Not enough RAM?

Too processor intensive?

I've considered buying a crapload more RAM, and configuring a Ramdrive to run the SCT software in....

That would suck to do that and not get better results although there are other uses for a Ramdrive.

Sub par specs is definitely the issue. I don't think ram is the complete issue since you can store all the information you want in advance to processing.  It does not help with the fact that it simply cannot consume the data fast enough. It most likely has a processor with laughable specs.

They need to transfer the work load to the attached computer. it would keep the price down and allow for a lot more reliable data.

Yeah I didn't do a boosted launch on the datalogs. Just mashed the pedal from like a 1-2mph roll. Surprising how much longer it takes to get going without a boosted launch. Literally feels like a full second before it even gets going anywhere. Just didn't want tire spin throwing off any data he needed to see.

He said to stick with this tune for a while. Plan on hitting the dyno in May. Kind of want to hit up the mustang dyno for a before and after, but yet again really want to see numbers on a dynojet. Maybe I'll hit up both!

I just ran the x4 connected to the car obd2, and a USB cable from the X4 to my HP laptop.

Also, what's the best way to determine 0-60? Should I data log just a couple of parameters with a boosted launch? I've never had success using torque pro's 0-60. It'll always give me 6 second 0-60s.

Like FoMoCoSHO said, the track is the best way to get good timing.  The other seems to be an Aeroforce gauge, so you won't be logging simultaneously, no big deal.  Torque definitely is no good at it.  You can check out Dynolicious, one of the few apps (Apple based) that I have ever read good things about for this purpose.

255kpa = 22.5 psi ;)

NICE!
I work with torrie also,  expected the good weather in canada to datalog on the drag strip
