No way! My time is so limited anymore I hardly even post here for leisure like I used to or even to talk tech but I always read. By the time I send emails I get tired of typing.

I just got this email from Amsoil and thought it was interesting and it's good info for us here at EBPF since LSPI is a real issue. I like that Amsoil is well aware of the issue and incorporates changes to their oil to combat it.

I'm excited about the new formula. However, it doesn't look like it's available in my preferred 0W-30 viscosity. Hope that's on the way soon.

Nice to have the assurance against LSPI. I do wish they would give a little more concrete data rather than just saying "our oil test above oem standard and has no LSPI events". Kind of just asking us to take their word for it. Not that i doubt the oils quality but i'd prefer to see it with my own eyes.

Great article. I usually run Amsoil in my vehicles, but I’ve decided for the moment to keep getting oil changes at the dealer since I had my motor replaced, mostly for warranty work if needed.
Curious what oil filter most guys are running? I’ve read a lot that says to stick with Motorcraft. Just watched an interesting video on tear downs of premium filters (motorcraft was not one) and t got me thinking of what the best filter would be.

I can get Amsoil at cost through my family’s business and plan to run the Signature Series in the Flex soon, but curious what filter everyone is running.

Yeah, read through all those... And more. Seems majority run the MC. A few K&N and other budget ones. This LSPI article here just got me thinking of it a bit more and if filter combo with oils of this type helps with LSPI. Thanks

I always provide my own oil when it is changed at the dealership.
