2010 SHO, non PP, every other option, black.

The car belongs to my father-in-law. The car is garaged, well maintained and has 52,000 miles. It still has the original Michelins that will very soon be in need of replacement due to normal tread wear. They really need changed now because the sidewalls are dry rotted. The car is stock except for a K&N drop in. We run them in everything.

He is a smoker and the car will need a complete detail inside. I've noticed the car has that flapper door thingy issue. It appears the part is about $20. The sunroof has an issue some how and the front edge glass gasket catches on the part that helps it keep from buffeting. Three of the 4 wheels are curb rashed .  BTW, is there touch up paint that color? There are a few scratches from normal wear and tear and there is a golf ball dent in the right fender that can be removed. However, the paint is nice.

I thought of offering $16k and tell him to have it professionally detailed/ ozoned. I will deal with the right fender ding, sunroof and the flapper door on my own. All things considered, what is a good price for this car?

Oh and we are in FL.

Thanks for looking. I really appreciate the help.

Pics would be really helpful to assess the car's condition/value.  Which wheels does the SHO have?  There's not an exact match that I know of, but some aftermarket choices come very close (so I hear).  Will need to clearcoat after the paint also.

That's reasonable.

Attached is a screenshot of 2010 transactions at Manheim auctions in past 30 days.  This tells you what the cars are going for wholesale.

$16K is what they are going for.

I pulled the trigger and got it for $15,500 with  Rapid Spec 402A plus voice activated nav, multi contoured seat, 20" 5 spoke luster nickel wheels.

Cant wait to mod.

Thanks SHOdded,

It already had a K&N panel filter. Windows are getting tinted tomorrow. Also hope to do an intense interior detail/ ozone. I am installing a new flapper thingy, cabin air filter and seat a/c air filters. It will need tires soon.

After that, I can start the fun stuff.....BOV VTA, blacking out chrome, 3rd cat and res delete, tune, plugs, stat, etc.
