Are there any dyno pulls with it vs. anything else?

Looks really nice that's for sure.

No dyno pulls, I might try to find a member to try and work something out.

What filter are you using?

They are 3" conical dry filters, similar to every aftermarket cone filter out there so it's compatible with aftermarket cleaning/oiling kits.

Give the guy credit, promised us a while back a custom intake, with law school and everything, cant wait to see it,probably in the process creating a pat.

Where are you located? I may be interested in working something out with you. Other than tuner, colder plugs, and 170* t stat I'm all stock.

This is good news.  I am excited to see test results from this intake.  I really think the addition of the scoop will prove beneficial

Interested depending on test results.

If it makes any power and/or keeps temps at bay, I will pick one up.

Regardless of results, its a gorgeous intake, great job!

Went for a nice 30 minute drive. Once warmed up the outside temperature here in Michigan was 52 degrees, the IAT were a consistent 48-50 degrees while in motion. I had idled the car for 10 minutes and the high was 78 which quickly dropped back down to 48-50 when driving.

This is without the intake scoop installed as I did not have a coupler on hand, I will re-test this with the coupler. Might help improve the standing idle temps.

IAT2?

The best looking CAI piece i have ever seen, know if the the performance gains can be proven with combination of appearance, you have yourself one heck of a CAI,another note for us with existing airaid CAI,is it feasable in any way to modify the Airaid box and install yours inside the box, only a suggestion to help with heat suppresion.

Thank you for the kind words! This intake completely eliminates any air from the engine bay so the box wouldn't really do much besides take up room in the engine bay. The simplicity of the kit is that the whole intake can be swamped out by removing 3 screws and unplugging the MAP sensor, should you want to go back to stock or have more room to work in the engine bay.

Also this creates room up front for a possible methanol container that can be easily accessed.
