My CTS-V build

I've been following Black Market Racing on Facebook and Instagram. Glad to hear about the demand for the Twin Turbo kit. Is your CTS-V on the back burner for now?

Car went 10.3@133 and then 10.3@141 lifting. Next pass the nitrous spray bar came apart and put all 200 shot down #7 cylinder which caused the motor to blow of course.
BMR built that kit and it did amazing, the plan now is LSX short block, port and polish and repair my TFS GenX 255 heads (shipped them out last week) and to install that kit on my car. With my fuel system, heads, head studs etc we should see around 1400WHP at least on E85.
It will take me some time to build up the cash however, $9K for the short block and $5K for the trans + $20K for the TT kit.
For the first time I will have to take years to do a build instead of trying to bang it out as soon as possible. It will probably be 2-3 years before it's back on the road at the level I want but I am shooting for a 200MPH 1/2 mile out of the car. :)

Pretty fast already!  It will easily outrun a banshee when done :thumb:  Any thoughts to taking it to the Texas Mile or the Salt Flats?

Absolutely, need to show some people what it will do in the 1/2 mile locally before I can get invited some invitationals. No Salt Flats though, that would be a whole different level.

Ordered the LSX 390ci short block last week, sent heads out a few weeks ago to get repaired and ported along with some fancy valve train stuff. Also ordered 4L80E with transbrake and triple disk stall.
I just need to find me an 88mm turbo for the back of the car to go with the SC up front, going compound boost and shooting for 1400WHP on this setup.
Hopefully back on the road by April/May timeframe.

Heads are fixed and headed to the engine builder, all ported up by Tony Mamo

BTW, my goal for 200MPH 1/2 mile probably isn't in the cards any time soon, it will take a TON of power that I can't afford but 200MPH mile should be doable. :)
