Hello folks, I just purchased a '13 Lincoln MKS EB w/ 13K miles. So far I am loving this car. I really was originally after SHO PP, But could not find one in my area for my price. Anyways hope to eventually put a tune on it, however, I have ESP plan that I don't want to mess with, so for now I am gonna limit myself to mods that don't mess with that. I have been browsing these forums for couple days now and have picked up so much.

Couple things I would love to get my hands on are the Maroney sticker w/ MSRP and Copy of the OASIS to show what ford knows about the car. I was wondering if anyone on here might know how to get hold of those. I tried 3 ford dealers around me, And none of them could help me out.

Anyways thanks for this great resource. I am loving how much I have learned from these forums thus far.

By the way, I am in KC, So shout out to my fellow EcoBoost owners in the area.

Welcome to the EB community, cljnco, congrats on finding a "gem" of an MKS!  Once you have tested it out in conditions you would normally drive it in, hence doing your own "breakin" process, you can proceed with the tune.  Of course, all maintenance should be uptodate, including fluids, brakes, intercooler, turbo piping, etc. first.

Still awaiting delivery of pics of your new ride :)

Hello. Yeah I will know this car inside and out and it will be well broken in before I do go ahead and tune. I just hope I can hold myself off until PT warranty expires. :) Right now I just trying to find out the history of the car. Surprised at how difficult it is, Ford must have cracked down or something at some point. Last Ford I bought, dealer just about threw OASIS report at me, Of course I did actually buy that car at a ford dealership as opposed to this one. :)

But yeah, I keep reading what tunes are doing to these cars and it makes me want to tune really bad. :)

It doesn't come through as nice in the pictures, But I love that Tuxedo black. Pretty soon though I will be tinting the head and tail lights. And I am thinking if I can get hold of em, Some Sho wheels might look nice. But I am still not entirely sure what direction I am going to regarding wheels, if any.

Very nice!  I would have loved to have found a black MKS.

The stock polished 20" wheels aren't bad, but they aren't exactly my taste either.  Tough thing is finding a wheel that is sportier than stock, but not too sporty to look out of place on a Lincoln.
