So this is the bike I spent about a year building, and now its for sale, so a potential buyer asked for a couple videos, so I thought id post the exciting one.

Bike is on stock gearing, during the video I weigh about 340lbs, down from 375 and still going. Normally I can almost do WOT in 1st, but it was only 38* outside so 2nd was having a hard time.

still trying to edit it a little bit. Trying to get both song and bike to be the same volume level. Having issues. Im just gonna remove the song all together.

Yea, im editing the video a little bit, so its a little glitchy.

Bike is a 2007 Plasma Blue ZX-14
Engine was honed and replated by Millennium. Still 1352cc.
JE 9.5:1 Piston, but then used a thinner head gasket, so about 10:1 final compression.
New rings, rods, bearings, gaskets, ARP studs/bolts.
Port and Polished head, degreed cams, new springs.
Orient Express Turbo kit made by Velocity Racing
Garrett GT2871R turbo
Tial Wastegate, Currently running the 8.5lb spring.
Bigger external Fuel pump, factory gas gauge and gas mileage works fine still.
Rising fuel pressure FMU setup.
Power Commander 3.
Autometer Phantom Boost/Vacuum and Fuel Pressure gauges.
OEM Clutch, but with Brocks Springs and Spacers.

Probably most of it. lol

Sweet scooter, impressive mods.  I'm jealous.  I got off my Ducati suddenly in 1979 and didn't walk for a year... The wife almost left me when I picked up an Aspencade 6 years later..... So it had to go (it was older with low miles and still high compression for touring in mountains).  I can't go there anymore.  But you did... and quickly.    :punk:

Man, you took off from 60 mph!  Sounds good all the way till you pegged the speedo, Kolk :thumb:

It will actually keep going faster, all speed limiters are removed. When I shifted, I looked down and realized I just went into 6th, and then let off. Thats why I only give it gas for a split second after the last shift. Normally when out messing around, I only go WOT through 2nd, a little into 3rd and let off.

During cold weather, almost none. It all depends on your end goal, and other factors come into play. Top speed? Probably what I have now or even longer, given enough room. Acceleration? It depends on how sticky of tire you want to run, and how long you want to make the bike. I have a pretty sticky tire, but not a slick, and my bike is about 8inch longer than stock.

My builder is about 220lbs, and he has very bad traction problems with my bike, My weight actually helps with traction, but it obviously hurts me once I have traction.

If I would of built the bike to be a drag racing bike, it would have an even sticker tire, and at least a -1 front sprocket, assuming I could keep the front down at that point. But I wanted a crazy fun street bike, my goal was to be able to go WOT in 2nd, and keep it down. Assuming its about 60* outside, I can do that just fine. So the gearing is perfect for what I want it to do.

I mainly say stock gearing, because usually people gear their bikes like crazy, and say "Yea I had it up to 180mph" when in reality it was like 150 on a GPS. So right now my bikes speedo is only off as far as Kawasaki allowed it to be, when they made the bike.
