For those still running stock rotors (PP), can you snap a picture of your rotors? Just had mine replaced and these don't look like the PP rotors I had.

Thanks,
Bryan

UPDATE: The dealership got back to me and confirmed that p# DG1Z*1125-C is old and has been revised with GG1Z*1125-A and noted with "will no longer have inner slots".

Here is my '15 PP. 11,500 miles.

In order
2x front driver
2x rear driver
2x rear passenger
2x front passenger

Sorry for crappy iPhone quality.

Thanks guys. I knew they had vents around the hat area. Dealer tried arguing with me about it "1125A was the only part# for your car". I called Ford and opened a case for this and for the fact that i took the car in for the FDM recall and they didnt even touch it after I was told that they did.

Wow...so they lied about the recall and put the wrong rotors on....i bet all involved also think they are underpaid at their jobs...sadly this happens alot and makes it hard to feel good about the work ethic of this country

Actually, it doesn't look like my '16 have vents in the hat on the front.

Non pp have the vents also... I think the only difference is the pads between pp and non

Perhaps the old rotors were superseded with non-vented. According to fordparts.com, the correct rotor PN looks to be 1125.

Not sure how it works in the Ford world, but I have seen at other companies that when a part changes, an alpha character is often added to the PN - in this case 1125A? - as long as the parts are interchangeable. If they make another update in the future, perhaps it will become 1125B,C,...,etc.

The description for 1125A speaks to the base SHO while 1125C mentioned w/PP or Police Interceptor. With a 2016 PP having the 1125A maybe they said screw it and make a one size fits all rotor.

I believe the front PP & Interceptor Rotors are [14.50 in]!!!.  Z

Front PP rotors Part Number: 1125(BRRF-202)    Alternate part numbers. BRRF112, DG1Z1125B, DG1Z1125C  BRRF202        http://www.fordparts.com/Commerce/PartDetail.aspx?n=1uD1gqtMju8xKONWuPs6PQ%3d%3d&id=400250795&m=2&search=true&year=2013&make=Ford&model=Taurus

NON-PP  front rotors  1125(BRRF-75) Alternate part numbers. CB5Z1125A

Need someone with non PP to snap a picture of their rotors. These new ones look very similar but without the vented area. Fordparts and Tasca only show one part# now which is odd.

Hey Z, did you notice that the PP rotors aren't able to be shipped?

I sure did but that usually applies for engines and trans.IDK
I think your best bet would be to measure the rotors to make sure they are indeed 14.50 in and best of luck to ya.  Z

I should just buy these and ask for a refund, hell these are cheaper anyway.

Assuming thats price per rotor, they will have free shipping as well! Gotta love Summit!
