Need traction

Went to Tucson SRI last friday night.

Best was 13.86 @ 104... that mph seems extremely high. Tried launching from about 2000 rpms and best was 13.9... the 13.8 was at 1800 rpms...

Maybe I should try dropping it more to 1500? I was also running with 35psi in tires.

That will tell how much you were spinning.

When I was at the track, I tried launching from the 1600 rpm area. Didn't spin but felt weak and added .5 to times...best times came at 2100 launch with spinning of tires...32 psi on brand new rubber

I have some 17" wheels I'll sell you for $200 including a pair of used rears, just get some 275/50R17 M&H drag radials for up front (or whatever ones you want) HUGE difference and you can brake boost all you want and not lose traction.
Come up to Phoenix and pick them up (I'm in Ahwatukee)

Nitto Motivo 255/45 R 20's solved my tire spin / hop. It's also rated at 60K miles.
