Rich... We should start a campaign for it.  I wouldn't change, but it could be useful for new owners in warranty and for service checks.

Agreed...the option of more power that is left in there combined with warranty coverage would open up the community as a whole, and in turn maybe spur some aftermarket action too. But if they change our power plant in the future models I think we might be dead ended quite quickly with aftermarket support, being left with custom one offs and very expensive.

Agreed, but the SHO is pretty close to "one of" when you buy it.  I have worked in the development of every mod I have except lighting and the tune.  The price for a unique sleeper I guess.

I'm supposed to complete my order of my mustang in the morning, but now that I see the new sync 3 will be out later this year I'm going to hold out. Reall glad I saw the announcement or i woulda felt pretty jipped. Honestly I'm kinda sad thinking of giving up the sport, but I've always wanted a mustang and I'm about to realize my dream come true. Will have to update later this year when I place the order.

Shodded, that's funny you say that because at first my wife was all letting me dream, but then come number crunching time and she brought that up. With baby on the way all of us wouldn't fit in the mustang. She has a 5 seater Chevy sonic. I may need to postpone even longer

Well, drove to the dealer this morning to pick up my spare tire kit (nice alloy wheel - Not the black steelie with yellow warnings all over it) and, talked to the service folks. They ran the VIN and said my EB was not involved in the recall.  So, I went ahead and paid for it   Had the salesperson sweating for a while since I had not made the payment or received the title papers from them. So far, all is good. Took the wife to lunch in the Black Hills, about 100 miles round trip, and averaged 31 mpg for the drive. She handles the twisties really nice with the sport mode engaged for steering.

If you ever plan on making a few more smile inducing ponies let us know!
