Don't forget, you can also upgrade your 2010-2012 to the better 2013 brake booster and master cylinder.
Yes I know about them. But if stock brakes are 6 out of 10 good and the PP A 7 OF 10. The powerstop kit up it to 14 of 10 and the steel lines with add to that. I auto-x the PP-Brake and I will go auto-x ing before going with the cost of booster & master cylinder.

Well I bought this kit and my son installed them. Worked out great! Brakes are much better. Going for the steel braided lines next in a few weeks.

I got my lines but have not put them on yet. It took some time to get. They are made to order after you order them.

Hey Shoman! Still loving the brakes? I have read some review about them being a tad noisy. I am thinking of going this route, what a killer price, just want to know it's not too good to be true.

Not sure if they have a complete system for Flex.  I do have their pads with Power Slot rotors on front.  Using my smaller lighter wheels/tires the stopping is very good if not great.  However, my front rims look like they are the charcoal ones.  LOTS of brake dust.  But I don't mind... they have saved me from a couple accidents!

My rears are power slot rotors without the slots from TireRack... Ended up with Akebono (?) rear pads.

Hi man. The price is real I even got the $40 mail-in rebate 2 week ago. The only noise I had was backing out in the morning for about 2 weeks brake-in and it stop. I don't have the dust problem.

I can't believe I'm coming back to this thread after this long and I still haven't ordered anything. AutoAnything has the Power Stop kit for $275 after a 15% promo code. Alternatively, they have the EBC Ultimax slotted rotors and Redstuff pads for $460 after a 15% promo code. I just need to figure out if the EBCs are worth the extra $185. I've never used Power Stop brakes and I didn't keep the one car I had with EBC brakes long enough to really assess them.

Any updates on your Power Stops, shoman04?

So... Is the 2012 SHO brakes (front) different than a 2013 SHO?  Most sites do not list the 2013 yet.
2010-2012 are exactly the same, 2013 total different.

BOO….  :cry1:  I guess I have to wait… or do caliper covers for a while

My OE lasted only 30k and 2.5yrs. I have had the PowerStop for 6mo 24k mi (the SHO has become my DD and road trip car this yr) The P-Stop are still in great condition and warrant for 3yr 36k mi. The stopping pwr is no contest vs stock PP BRAKES!!!! But I didn't do any Auto-x this yr I will next yr. My local dealer install my P-Stops and Mike my normal mechanic said he install(REPLACE STOCK) a lot them on there Commercial customer F-150 and F-250. The PowerStop good stuff and a good company.

BIGMac Question in the 2010-2012 SHO/FLEX brakes were exact the same but AutoAnything only showed the PowerStop brake kit for the 2010 SHO! So I ask them why? They said that some supplyer will not update year date if the parts don't change from one year to the next. So the question is did 2013-2014 Flex/Explorer get the upgrade SHO brake two? If they are still the same between SHO/Flex/Explorer then P-Stop do have brakes for 2013-2014 SHO.

I finally decided to go with the Power Stop kit. While chatting with a sales rep via AutoAnything's live chat feature, he suggested that we try to find a better deal so he could authorize a price match. As it turns out, another retailer had the kit for $267 and some change with free shipping. AutoAnything price matched them on the spot. If this kit is all everyone says it is, that's an incredible deal!

That's awesome!  Looking forward to pics of 'em on your car, and your feedback on their performance :D

The areas on the rotor that are not part of the contact area for the pad......how are they holding up against corrosion resistance? Cause this kit is zinc washed or something right?
I know my factory rotors were always rusty on the hats from new.
