New caliper covers option

Hey guys!
My friend Paul Snyder from AutoKosmetX has a new business Partner that can manufacture customized calliper covers. I will be his demo car. They can be metal brushed or more opaque, the color that we want and the writing/logo that we want on it. They should detail at around 250$ CDN. A Wheel spacer will be needed, but otherwise their installation is very basic.
They look amazing!
I think I will have them metal brushed with the same color as my car (Hot step mama red).
That with the Wheel spacer will be a nice upgrade.
I will keep you informed on that project.
He will be the supplier for USA and CDA, he can ship anywhere. (btw he also has partners for plastidip in the US)...

Now I have to decide on the color. I was thinking either white or color matched red (like the dip). I am leaning towards the red. What do you guys think? Any other color suggestions? I eliminated yellow, lime green, purple etc. Black look a bit too invisible. Maybe brushed silver? But I don't have any chrome or silver on the car. If I go with the red (hot step mama red like the dip), I would insert their logos in white and black. After all, I will be sponsored for those, so it's the least I can do...
Also, I am not familiar with Wheel spacers. I have seen people using 3mm for their MGP covers and others a bit more and different spacing for front and rear. Does it affect the ride? handling, acceleration, aerodynamic? etc.
Thanks!

I have the MGP covers on mine, I noticed no real difference. I did install the spacers on the rear also, just to ensure the same spacing. (The rears don't require spacers.

Here is what they look like. We can choose any color and put the logo that we want and the finish that we want.
I will choose them color matched hot step mama red with white and black logo on them in a metal brushed finish...

what's up guys I wanted to jump on this and ask everyone's opinion on this subject.  I want to put caliper covers on my xsport but I've heard from a couple of ppl that it's recipe for disaster.  Nightmare stories of them breaking loose and reeking havoc.  Any input on this?

I should get them in less than a month. I don't know if they need to take measurements or if they already have the specs, but since I am leaving for a week tomorrow, the project will start when I come back...
I'll keep you posted.
Thanks!

Definitely interested!

But only if they fit w/o wheel spacers.
I believe, like the MGPs, they will require wheel spacers.
I actually always wanted wheel spacers. I find the wheels too mich inside. So for me it's not an issue at all.
May I ask you why you wouldn't want wheel spacers?
Thx

Steve...
Mostly because I still want to do lower and waiting on the Megan coilovers.  I also want to1+ the tires at least (looking at Hancook v12s).  The question of stress to the axles, hubs and lugs arises, but likely this is minimal.  Mostly just want to be able to fit everything with the above mods... Down about 3/4" or so in front and about 1.5" rear.

Mine already is lowered with H&Rs. I didn't think it could
Be an issue to have wheel spacers... I believe others have done the combo of wheel spacers and lower suspension... Perhaps Mike (bdp)...

Its pretty hard for a quality cover like MGP or these to come loose. I am sure any horror stories come from junky ebay covers, and not these. Unless installed wrong, a MGP cover is reall hard to come off.

If you want to feel more secure, you could use some caliper paint, and have them painted any color.

i have the mgp red with black sho on them, love them with my new open wheels but these look like a big step up from the mgp's so am interested. on a non-pp 2010 w/ std wheels i ended up not needing any spacers.
