Hey everyone!

Just picked up my first SHO and couldn't be more excited. I wanted up upgrade my daily driver to something more fun for my 20 minute commute and I think this is going to be the perfect car for me. I purchased a 2011 SHO with light modifications from a local private party and have been enjoying it this first weekend immensely.

I have a few questions that I will ask in the appropriate sub-forums but figure I can start out asking them here as well.

For anyone that has experience with Livernois vehicles, can I safely run an E30 blend in the car on the 93+ tune? I didn't immediately find anything on a search, but will be looking for more information.

Also for the Livernois users out there, the seller told me factory remote start on the vehicle stopped working after he installed the tune. The car beeps twice when you attempt to use the fob to start it and nothing else happens. I checked the fault log with a Bluetooth scan tool and the history is clear. Any thoughts?

Thanks guys and can't wait to meet some of you in the Chicago area some time.

Welcome to the community, and congrats on the new ride!  Not sure about E30 in pre 2013MY vehicles, but it CAN handle some.  I would start with E20 and go from there.  The issue is with fuel/rail pressure since 2010-12 MYs top out at about 300 psi less than 2013+ MYs.  As far as the beep, have you replaced the fob battery?  How old is the vehicle battery?

As I understand it I would have to worry about running out of pump so I will probably keep it on full 93 until I change out a few fluids and feel the car out for a few thousand miles. Thanks for the heads up.

I will have to check the records the previous owner gave me with the car to find out, but it looks like a fairly fresh Interstate battery. I should try changing out the fob battery, but both stopped working at the same time, so that would be a coincidence. Wouldn't hurt to try though!

Also from Chicagoland area here myself.

I may have completed a couple of mods on mine. Nothing too terribly special though.

Lol.

Welcome aboard the EB crazy train.
