Hello All,
New Member from Birmingham AL, I recently purchased my 13 F-150 Ecoboost. My first performance mod was X4 with 5 Star custom tunes and now like every other speed junky, I can't leave well enough alone! I tried to hold out on tuning due to factory warranty, after much research and other customer reviews I finally decided it was "safe" to tune. I had a difficult time deciding between MPT and 5 Star, 5 star finally won out due to sheer number of 4-5 star reviews.

I have been into drag racing for close to 10 years now, more less just test and tune and street nights nothing serious. First car was a Z-28 and after some poor experiences with GM, I switched over to  Ford... This is the fourth Ford I have owned, third F-150 (wife had 08 GT/CS). This is the first forced induction vehicle I have ever owned, so I'm learning as I go. Im planning some pretty serious modifications later this year and look forward to using this site for information and knowledge.

Welcome to EBPF, Ghost, good choice with the '13 Eco!  How do you like the tune so far?  Do you have 93 available to you?  Post up some pics, all rides welcome :)

The tune is like driving a completely different truck! Yes I have 93 in my area and run a 93 performance tune.

I have some pretty big plans for this truck, right now the wife and I are trying to buy another house so thats putting a damper on the spending cash. We just relocated to Birmingham from Tampa Bay FL. Later this year I plan to upgrade turbos HHT caught my eye while researching performance stuff. I want to build a mid to low 12 second truck. I will also upgrade intercooler, down pipes, CAI hopefully some options will be out for more fuel by then. I don't really like the sound of cat back exhaust so I was planning to do an electric cutout behind down pipes for the track.

Luckily for you guys, lots of upgrades available for the F150, so lotsa ways to get the wife really mad at you :)  As far as fuel, I'm hearing that methanol injection may be a way to get around the need for upgrade at least initially, so I'd look into it, especially if you can get methanol locally.

Welcome aboard Ghost Rider, best of luck with the new ride partner and any questions you may have always feel free to ask .Z.
