Hello everyone.

We recently picked up a 2013 Flex Limited For the wife and kids. I being an old school DSM turbo AWD guy couldn't resist playing with it however. Of course I'm trying to wrap my head around this new world of GDI. On my old Eclipses it was easy, crank up the boost and plug in and Air Fuel computer, and tell the injectors what to do and each RPM. Ahh the good old days.

Anyway, looking forward to learning more and enjoying this cool new toy.

Welcome aboard the E.B.P.F Shawn, post some pic's of the new ride, how many miles on her??and any questions you may have always feel free to ask.  Z  :WELCOME: :WELCOME:

Welcome to our li'l corner of the Ecoboost world, Shawn, congrats on the new ride!  Thankfully the basics remain the same, it's just how you collect & manage the data that has grown more sophisticated over time :) so you should be right at home very very quickly.  Do post pics of your new ride as Z said!

How about just ADDING a Flex to the stable, panther?  Load 'em up on the trailer and ride around Knight Rider style ;)

Congrats. I sometimes wish I had got a flex rather than the sho.

Ha, I kind of wish I had got an SHO, but that wouldn't really work for the wife an twin 6 year olds, plus their friends.

I actually had a GenII 93 SHO back in the day. That was my first "cool" car, and I think the original SHO engine is still one of the best looking motors ever. I've actually looked into buying an intake manifold to mount and hang in my garage, those things are expensive though.
