Hello everyone,

I've been lurking for a while now. I'm looking at picking up a 2013-2014 SHO soon. I'm still on the fence right now and will probably make my purchase this winter. My sister works at a Ford dealership and that has influenced me some as I know I don't have to worry about the buying process and they are willing to located a used or CPO car for me. I drove a '14 and really liked it!

I guess you could say I'm a Ford guy. I've owned 8 Mustangs, several Fox bodies, a '95 GT project and a '99 Cobra. I currently have a '98 F-150 to get my by for now. My cars have always been the 2nd vehicle but that is not the case anymore and I need a reliable car for me and my daughter. I've also looked at some Chrysler 300s but the reliability has all but scared me away from those. Working in law enforcement, those who drive the Interceptor love them. That is a reason I am looking at the updated '13.

Looking forward to learning a lot. Here is the only project I've been able to do much to. My old '95 Mustang GT:

Welcome!

Nice 'stang!

I took my time and searched the country to find my '13 SHO used with 5500 miles.  Flew to Dallas and had a blast driving her back home!

Definitely best bang for the buck.  I test drove G37xS, TL SH-AWD, 335xi, Charger R/T AWD, and Legacy 3.6R.  The SHO won in exclusivity (I never see a SHO on the road!), options, and performance.  Hell, only the Charger and SHO offered factory remote start that turns on all of the gadgets on automatically. It's a high 12 second car with just a simple tune and 3BAR sensor.

Welcome, Walking Tall, and good luck on your quest for the SHO :)  Glad to have another LEO on board!

Like the Mustang, got any more pics of current/past rides?  Pic-a-holics over here :beer2:

WELCOME ABOARD THE ECOBOOST PERFORMANCE FORUM,you will find the info you need in this forum as it relates to performance mods and etc and good luck on your new purchase and welcome.

Thank you for all of the replies and warm welcome. Being a Mustang guy the ability to tune these cars and get in the 12s while having all of the great features really excites me. It was enough from getting me to stop looking at new Mustangs!

Here are some past cars:

My latest car. '99 Cobra. Had over 180k miles and what sounded like a spun bearing. Didn't want to go through that nightmare. Only lowered it.

My '05 V6 Mustang. Bought it in '06. Just did a few things, but really liked it for what it was. I was 20 and single and should have kept it, but traded for a Passat and then a TL.

(Same photo spot as the picture of my '95 but years later)

My favorite Fox. A nice car. I had this when I bought the '05. Should have kept it as a project but "young and dumb" kicked in and I traded it for a motorcycle.

And the "What could have been" car. An '89 FHP SSP car. It never got past this point. Too young and inexperienced to get it going.

Not pictured is an '86 GT and a few 4 bangers.
