I have 2 PP SHO"s, a 2013 W 104k and a 2016 w 86k. The 2013 had a seal leak in the PTU about 3 years ago. I used the seal conditioner and it fixed it, then my 2016 2 months ago got the same PTU seal leak, both in the rear driveshaft seal. I used the same treatment and it fixed it as well. I'm now confident to recommend this to anybody who has a leaking PTU get this stuff, it works. ATP 205 is worth its weight in gold. I was getting quotes for $3,700 for a PTU replacement. In both cases I was able to extend the PTU vent hose up into the engine compartment and use that too add the seal treatment and add new fluid to the ptu. Hopes this helps someone. Has anyone had any experience with using a borescope to go down the PTU vent hose and visually verify what the current level of the fluid is in the ptu?
