Hey all. I just picked up a 2014 non pp SHO for a daily. Already ha e my ppe downpipes ordered, 170 stat, ngk plugs, and gonna order the tune tomorrow. Needless to say,  from the pic I am a performance car nut!  Especially ford's. From left to right is my old daily, a 98 contour SVT, the new SHO, my 2011 raptor, my 650 hp cobra, and the wifes daily our audi a4. This site has been very helpful in figuring out what I wanted for a daily and what I wanted to do with it. You all are super insightful!  Thanks for your help. I look forward to learning more about these motors!

Wow, that's quite a collection of zoomzoom toys!  Welcome to the forum, Pete, glad you are here :)  Good looking SHO too, poses nicely next to the Contour!  How many miles on it BTW?  Is that the Mystic Cobra?

The sho has 27k on it. I stole it from the dealership. Paid 24k. Ya. The cobra is a mystic. I have had it for 10 years. It has a custom built stroker motor, t trim vortech, t56 magnum, and all kinds of other stuff. She runs high tens low 11s, has ac and passes California emissions. It's an awesome car. Very reliable and easy to drive as well.

First mod done today. My car was an exec car from Michigan according to the carfax. Holy salt on the roads. My exhuast looks terrible. Overall the x pipe installed good.  I can hear just a slight difference getting rid of the diffuser.  I can't wait to get my ppe downpipes on!

I ordered a magnaflow 2.5 inch crossover pipe.  Then had the muffler shop weld in pipes to fit it where the resonator was.

I installed a 170 t stat and colder plugs today gapped at .30. I have a 3 bar map sensor that I am going to put in as soon as I get my tune files  back from livernois. I am stoked!

Absolutely. Had a 1l bottle and put 2.5 of em back in.  Let the motor run for 20 mins to burp it. Stock fan setting looms like it kicks in at 212. It took it a long time just to get to temp.

Well tune is in with 3 bar and map sensor. It Def runs harder and shifts way better. But I expected a way bigger increase I guess. I don't have my intake on yet and it was tuned to work with one so I will wait to give it final judgement. Afr was at 10.7 during WOT which is pretty rich. I am sure when the intake is on it will prob run harder. Boost was high 12s at high rpm, mid 13s at mid rpm. Does all this sound correct?

Wich tune file did LME send you? do you have access to 93 octane in your area, and welcome aboard. Z

So on my way to the track I can just stop and add some e 85?  Fuel curves and supply wouldn't change?

Your trims will increase a little or a lot depending on how much is in the tank when you add the E.

Livernois says no e-85 but there are a few guys running LME tunes with a light blend that have had good results.

As glock said, you want a little drive time prior to hitting the track to let the adaptives do their job.

Got it. There really isn't any e85 too close to me but there is a few stations on the way to the track.  I might give this a shot as soon as I get my downpipes. Hoping for 12s. Which still feels slow compared to my stang but 12s in a daily driver that weighs 4300 pounds is pretty epic!
