I ordered the DRLs and the upgraded puddle lights...Just got the tracking number.
Spoke with Dan: The white light in the DRLs is 5K color temp and the amber turn signal part is a match for the OEM..... also he relates that he is still putting final touches on the both the install instructions and video (for DRLs), but anticipates they will be ready by the time I get the DRls and upgraded puddles. He said just to call him for any questions on the install... if there's no video at the time I install I'll try to do a "How To".... surfed around his website for a while too, and it seems he has customers in over 72 countries!
I did the non hassle free option and cut open the puddle lamp module to install some leds from Amazon for $8. Took me about an hour from start to finish. I am very interested in the new DRL kit. I wonder how it wires into the turn signal. Do you have to take the bumper cover off to install? If it requires the bumper to come off and more wiring, then it's a definite turn off for me.BiGMaC said:

Thanks for this!! My passenger side light is out and rather than replace with an oem bulb I think I will just order the DRL replacements!!

Just ordered mine along with puddle lights ....
OK!... Got the package. Dan sent it 2nd day USPS without request! He's the man! You can left click any image to enlarge it.
Here's the new Gen Puddles... They have a much larger LED, a resistor built in on the back, a color temp of 5500K, and are 8x brighter than OEM. Also the license plate lights...which look too short... the packaging is fancy compared to my first purchase.
I'll get some comparison shots of these versus the first gen when I install later.
Here's the actual DRL/turn switchbacks. They appear very well made, are labeled RH and LH (RH has a much longer wiring tail.
Here's the wiring harness and controller for the system. Controller is sealed aluminum with the attachment tapes already on the back as in the Edge video, all the connections are liberally waterproofed throughout the kit... I reviewed the Edge instructions, but still had a couple of questions since the wing is asymmetric and I want to verify the fuse to be replaced by the "H". So I sent my questions to Dan with the pic below in email.... so I'm sure about the connections before I dismantle the wheel well liners for access. I hate doing a job twice! The kit included four crimp type wire taps and 6 wire ties also.
