how about putting on the downpipes the driving around with out the new tune and report back then go all out later and upload the tune that way you can tell what you got over stock with just the DP's :) just curious as to your opinion of the added performance with them only.

Catted down pies stock 1'13 SHO -> 12HP, non-catted -> 17HP  link is here: http://www.ecoboostperformanceforum.com/index.php?topic=2054.msg28591#msg28591

I'd love to see tuned also... I'll be doing after my CAI is fabbed...  I'd love to know if the tune exploits them as much as Dave's drag and dyno indicate

true thanks bigmac I may have to pull the trigger and get some non catted.

Is the install hard ? I'd have to do it at home no shops will do it that way most likely plus I'd prefer to save the labor if possible :)

@68_GT Would you be able to pass inspections with non catted? Assuming you'd be getting inspected in either Harris or Montgomery county.

If you have ANY type of emmission testing , non catted will not fly .
OK has no emissions testing , so I have  non catted.

Doubt it severely... with noncatted the last O2 sensor is off to prevent CELs.... and the OBDII will show that emissions equipment is turned off.... No cats to see... no CARB number as a consequence.... if they actually tailpipe it will fail.

I have always passed in Harris and Montgomery County as long as I've had no engine light on and no one has ever looked under the car for visual inspection. My Mustangs were too low so they never bothered to look but with the SHO I assume some kid wont be thinking about checking this car for cats. I always just talk cars to the guys so they don't care.
