I mentioned this before but its crucial to monitor your boost,AFR,readings in order to have an inside perspective and to see whats actually happening, guys with an Alky usually run 100%meth and would make sure there are no leaks coming out of the line from the pump,BTW any hesitations of any kind?? personaly think you should check and troubleshoot for any issues and blaming your tuner should be your last resort, also on the above post think all your HP numbers are somewhat misconstrued and simply dont add up based on the mods you mentioned, think a (dyno) session is in order, especially in this situation, just my 2 cent. I am running a solid PSI that I am keeping under wraps at the moment. Want to see what it will put down on a video run or two once I dial everything in. Let me just say I have ARP bolts on the way to get a little more piece of mind. Think I am 2 PSI away from where I want to be, but I have a feeling the trans will not keep up for thousands of miles to come. I don't know that I ever blamed the tune at all. Only asked if there was another I should have been using here. I have no issues, hesitations, bogging out, choppy response... from the 50/50 mix.
I was reading, watching YouTube videos, looking at posts and I feel that when people post negative gains on a CAI up to nearly 6000 RPMs, saying the seat of the pants spool up feel from a downpipe but fewer than 10HP gain for those who actually data log. Exhaust, outside of sound and maybe a little weight offers almost nothing else. Not to say that it does not offer a quicker 1320' because it does breath better. But I am looking at horsepower numbers at the moment. Then fine tuning, getting the right combo built up. etc.
My Corvette had 6 cold air systems before I found the right combo which was what really worked with my setup. No stranger to buying the same part time and time again to make things right. Just asking if someone would suggest another tune to go with supporting mods. Really not on to argue or fight with any members. Since I am new to Ford, I thought this would be the place to go and check out how to make it right.
