New guy around here picked up a 2010 sho non pp a few months ago previous owner loved plasti dip. It's almost all off now. Stock as can be other then a fancy k&n drop in filter. So far I've put about 8k miles on it an love it! I'm more from the 4x4 Ford f150 world and still have that too, but this car has interested me since they came out in 2010. Finally got my hands on one an plan on taking it as far as I can! 93 tune 3 bar and 170 thermostat is shipping to me as I type this!

Seeing more and more pics of SHOs in gas stations, is there something I should know?  LOL!  Welcome to the community, Shmike, put up some pics of your F150, maybe side-by-side with the SHO even!

Fuel economy not as good as advertised? LOL. Don't think I'll ever hit the EPA 22 MPG highway rating. My combined mileage is about the same as my 01 Screw with 4.6L V8, but that tank was 7 gal larger, so I spend a lot more time now at the gas pump. More power, though! Haha

I need to fill up tomorrow morning, so I'll be sure to snap a pic. ;)

Get all the scheduled maintenance done and recalls if any. And if you think you love it now get your tune done and you will not be disappointed with what a tune for a few hundred dollars can do....Be ready to brag about your torque monster.

Here's a pic of my good Ole 97 next to the sho, an nah it's a twin post lift an tool boxes behind the first picture lol.  Although the sho is pretty thirsty when I'm heavy footed.. I went with what seems to be a much less talked about company then the rest but seem to have a good reputation from what I've read, I took a shot with bcb an the x4. I know at least on the Facebook pages folks have so many things to say about the different custom tune options. Some good some bad. And some just vicious towards the guy who uses something different.

Hmm not sure why that pic is sideways but either way. I put new plugs in when I bought it as well as cleaned the throttle body. Changed the oil that the dealership put in. It was a local Ford dealership. I ran mobile 1 and a Bosch filter. Been tossing the idea about changing all the rest of the fluids just haven't done it yet. I'm sure it would like a fresh change. Of course the dealership said the ptu fluid and trans fluid don't need to be changed they said the ptu fluid never needs changed too. But that's why I do my own work on my vehicles. Any recommendations on fluids for the ptu and trans and rear axle? Thanks!

Please do not listen to anything the dealerships say about the "life time" fluids....I would change them ALL...You're 3 bar tune is going to run the car pretty hard.

I'm sure it'll get some abuse. I suppose nows a good time to change all these being the goods will be here by the weekend. Just gotta figure out what fluids and how much of each to get.

Look up amsoil....It's a great resource and will tell you how much of each fluid and what types of fluid you need
