Hey everyone......

After looking at a few other forums for the SHO. I figured this one to be the best. So here I am.

Two weeks into my '14 SHO PP. Got to say I love this thing! It's my first Ecoboost car and it will not be my last, that is for sure.

There she is. Ignot Silver/Charcoal interior.

Nearly looks White in that image! Enjoy your SHO.  :beer2:

Maybe our paths will cross whilst out -n- about motoring around.  :drive:

Glad to have you here. You are 100% right about best forum. Bunch of great people here willing to help regardless of how simple it may be.

Great looking ride. Any mods in the future?

Welcome to the community, and congrats on your '14 SHO.  Sleek sleeper in that IS color :thumb:  Any plans to mod it or take it to the strip?

Thanks all for the warm welcome.

Yeah, I plan on getting the Livernois tune to start it out. Then thinking about the MAgneFlow Exhaust and Airaid Intake. Considering the downpipes before the intake, but not sure yet.

Way in the future, I may look into upgrading the turbos, but from what I have read, getting fuel into the motor is a bit of an issue. So I'll continue to do my research and get as much info from all of you as I can.

Welcome!

Great looking car, you got great taste :D

I love my SHO, best car I've owned to date.  I love how rare they are, I can go months without seeing another one.

My first mod was switching out all of the lights to LEDs.  Makes a HUGE difference!

Get a plan for winter.  Those Goodyear Supercars are summer tires only, could get you killed in snow/ice.  I paid $1100 shipped for a 18" winter package from tirerack, so will swap them out for 6 months out of the year.

Oh yeah, tint those windows!! :)

Welcome to the forum. You may want to hold off on the intake as the stock air box is showing it's the best and most efficient option to date.

Thank you sir!

You are right about them being rare. I have only seen two SHO's in my area and neither of them were Silver.

Yeah I am thinking about the tints, but stupid Chicago has it's own law about no tints up front and it's $250 each ticket.

Switched out the ligths for LED's which ones?

I know, I am already starting to think about winter tires....Chicago can be a handful.

I got wheels and tires on closeout at TireRack for just under $1K shipped.  It's the best solution for me that sees a lot of snow.  Awesome winter traction and extend life of summer tires.  I'll post up some pics tomorrow, need to test mount them.  You could probably be fine with a nice All Season, but for the same price, you can get a winter package that will make you unstoppable in snow/ice.

For LEDs:

Get high output puddle lights (under side mirrors).  $145.  You get a $56 credit if you return original ones.  This comes with license plate LEDs as well ($10 value)

LED kit for interior: http://www.hidxenonlights.com/ford-ford-taurus-lights-c-643_76_206/interior-bulb-led-replacement-kit-p-659
$40.  Gets you LEDs for front and rear dome lights, vanity mirrors and trunk.

They are a PITA to install, but if you take your time, you won't break anything and the upgrade at night is so worth it.
